Rattler's Road to 300lbs

Anyways, I’ve never really taken pics before, but I was kind of curious as too what I look like from behind.

So, this is what I got.
Flame away.

Yes, my necklace is on backwards.

I finally hit 475lbs! It was a goal I set against my friend, and I promised him I would hit it before February. I’m so glad I did it, after I finished I was so happy! I had the biggest smile on my face, my friend walked up to me and she said, “I’ve never seen you so happy”

So that was amazing, then I tried front squats which I’ve never really done before. Needless to say, my weight on that is pathetic but I assume that’s mostly because I’ve 1) never done them and 2) probably don’t know how to do them properly. I feel I lean way too far forward.

Stretching wise, my flexibility has skyrocketed. Two weeks ago, I couldn’t even touch my does when stretching my hammies, now I can reach my fingers around them. Brings me back to my hockey days where I was able to do a full splits on the ice. 4 years of no stretching later, I look like a dumbass in the stretching area, beside all these 110lb girls. But hey, I’m making new friends

Good job! Let the hate flow through you during your lifts, but then you can release your anger afterwards.

They take a bit to get used to if you’ve never focused on them before. The thing I’ve most often noticed when people do them wrong is that they don’t have the bar high enough on their shoulders. It should practically be choking you. I also think you generally need to knee-break more with a front squat, as opposed to a hip break when doing back squats.

Have you banged Trish Stratus yet? :stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously though, it’s funny how quickly you’ll notice improvements on flexibility when you first start working on it. I remember when I first got into yoga, I could barely put shoes on without having to sit down to put them on. After only like a week or two, I was able to just bend over and put them one from a standing position.

No hate my friend, just the desire to win

I don’t know what you mean by knee break… I think my bar positioning is okay, I was doing them with crossed arms, and the bar was right at my neck. I just found I couldn’t help but lean forward, and my knees overshot my feet a lot, causing a tad of discomfort.

Yeah, she’s blowing me right now!

Seriously though, it feels great to be more flexible. It doesn’t change my lifting much, but for example what you mentioned with the shoes. I know it sounds gross, but wiping my ass isn’t so difficult anymore! (seriously though, it was hard)
LOL
However, the greatest part about stretching is being surrounded by the girls :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow, so I managed to get up to 305lbs on a bench. I can honestly say, that I was the happiest man on earth for a short period of time. Basically, I was the happiest man until I got home and found out my Dad doesn’t really give a sweet fuck about what I do. It’s pretty heart breaking to be honest. Basically made my victory bittersweet.

Anyways, this site is for testosterone. Fuck that, if anything… It will make me hit 310lbs next week. Fuck everybody who doesn’t care.
