I’ve never touched the stuff. Honestly, my last goal for now is to hit a 5 plate deadlift. But as it stands, I can get 475lbs up but barely. I don’t think I wanna go for it right about now. I’d rather take my time than gun for it like I did everything else. Right now, my main focus is building up my extremely sub-standard arms. 16 inches looks like 14 inches on a guy my height. It’s kinda depressing, but ever since my buddy and I pushed each other to our arm limits on fridays they’ve just… “felt” more full. Whether or not it’s actually true or just in my head, I don’t know. I like it, and that’s all that matters.

Man, whoever is in charge of the heat at my gym should be shot. I was working out in almost 30 degree celsius temperature. I felt like passing out towards the end. What a joke, I hate my gym. I’m thinking once I get a car I’m gonna leave there and go a bit up north. It’s more of an athlete’s training gym. I used to go there for hockey, it’s a nice warehouse style gym. No fancy machines, just a lot of power racks, room for olympic lifting and no stupid weekend warriors.
More expensive though…
Can’t have everything we want though, right?
As for my front squats, brutal weights I know… But I’m trying to get used to them. Once I get the proper form down, I’ll be able to up the weight.

That one 405lbs squat killed me yesterday. I needed help to get back up and I’m pretty sure I fully arched my back while trying to push it up. My lower back is still in a lot of pain. I couldn’t handle heavier barbell rows today so I went with a lower weight to keep the stress down. I actually enjoyed pumping the extra reps out though.
Had a fun workout today. I’m psyched for tomorrow’s workout though, as it will be the first time I ever listen to Cannibal Corpse while lifting weights. I hope it works out, haha!
