Would smash.

Good job buddy.

Alright, today is Official Day 1 on RFL for me. I did 2 days of very near to RFL and then yesterday had a break because I was traveling from 8am-1am and needed the diet to start today for refeed/free meal purposes.

For some accountability, here are my starting stats:

233 lbs
~25% BF (Estimated, but at 220 3 months ago I was 19% and I’m going to assume I didn’t net gain/lose LBM since)
44" Chest
42" Gut
45" Butt

I figure those are the 3 measurements that are really going to be my moneymakers in terms of recomp, so I’m just going to stick with those 3. I’ll get some pics up later today, but I gotta dash so that I can prepare a computer lab I’m teaching 1:30-3:30. But I’m taking 2 liters of water and a pack of beef jerky for my “Breakfast” (breaking fast around 11 for a little IF action) and one of my “irresponsibly filling shakes”. The shake is 1 cup greek yogurt (for my dairy serving), 1 scoop Metabolic Drive, and 1 scoop Grow!. 64g lean protein, 13g carb (mostly from the yogurt), and the yogurt and MD make it really filling even if I’m sipping it over 3 hours.

That’s the sweetest thing anyone’s ever said to me. Thanks!

Chim, looking good!!! Your dedication to this diet is outstanding!!!

Thanks Greenie!

looking awesome Chim! you look way leaner and your chest/shoulders look much more full and round. Kickin ass man

Ok so it looks like I might be getting back on the RFL (as early as tomorrow) My GF is going bridesmaid dress shopping soon and wants to drop a few lbs so I think the gregron household is gonna be hitting up the RFL!!! hahahaha good thing I stocked up on some meats at costco yesterday

Chim- you owned this diet!!

Welcome to Hell Week Sam!

Still plugging along here. This will be week 3. Measurements to come this Friday. My results don’t seem to be as noticeable as they were the first couple times I did it. But that’s why I will take pics as well. It’s the immediate results that kept me going and made it worthwhile.
At this point I’d rather do an hour of cardio a day!

I just discovered this (because I’m slow), but if you’re a seafood person, shrimp=awesome.

Thanks MiM!

I’m sure the results are coming if not in scale weight then picture-wise.

Blegh, you must be going through hell to prefer an hour of cardio.

I’m deloading this week but I may go back on in a bit. Up to 192.2 (can you say big rebound from last time?) at the doctors yesterday and I’ll be competing at 181 at my meet. So probably need to do a 2 week cycle and get back down. Also costco is amazing.

^^Costco had some really good prices yesterday so I stocked up on eggs and turkey meat. got a bunch of pre formed turkey burger patties. Gonna grill up a bunch and have tub full of 32g of protein patties ready to eat at a moments notice!

I also got one of their 3lb ready to eat rotisserie style chickens… it was amazing and I ate the whole thing for my lunch when I got home from shopping. it was so good.

Not really hellish, just bored. And I don’t think I’m going to get ‘rapid,’ results from this. If I’m only going to lose 1-2lbs a week(average) why not just eat a tad more and do more activity? :shrugs: I think I had this same convo last time I attempted this.
I told myself I would stick to it for at least for 4-6 weeks…its not forever!

Refeed yesterday. Only about ~3000 cals.

Down 13 pounds so far(after refeed). Plan is to go twelve, carb up for two, then go for twelve more. I’ll end up on my birthday, so I’m going to have one hell of a sugar-fueled refeed then I’m never getting fat again.
