Haha I just realized I didn’t even spell that right! Though the idea of free books and food is enticing.

I’m all about the college care packages!
yesterday was ok…need to get to the store tomorrow. Running out of veggies! And getting kinda bored of chicken already.
3 hard boiled eggs(just the whites)
a beef jerkey stick(and then I looked up the nutritional info, OOPS!) 9F and only 6P
8oz chicken
brocoli
cottage cheese
And for dinner I had an unplanned free meal. I make spaghetti at least once per week for the kids. I’m weak again it’s wiggly noodle ways. I am half Italian, so that’s my excuse.
I need to make more of an effort to get more protein.

Just sayin’.

Protein shakes are a life saver on this diet.
MAG-10 is great for protein with minimal calories too. Though if price is a problem pepto-pro mixed with crystal light (otherwise you will hate the taste) is great too.
Suck at what? I had a bad day.
Bite me.
Just sayin’.

I was hoping he was kidding for the most part.

Is there any chance you are both fat- and carb-free?
no, I had spaghetti last night, remember?
ya, protein shakes. I got some chocolate left… I like chewing my food though, know what I mean?
Also meant to say I get what you mean Chim.
I normally do a shake in the morning and I will do one at night…thanks!

Mostly, yes.
Today was a bit better:
chicken
cauli
fish
cabbage
shake
Too much of a good thing can be bad. I ate 3/4 of the bag of cabbage with the fish on top, which tasted good while it was going down, but Im still paying for it 4 hrs later.

The thread is finally back!
How much protein are you getting in daily?
The calculator calculated 150, so that’s what I’m shooting for.
Tbh, I haven’t ever kept track. There’s been times through this where I would take note for a couple days just to see where I’m at.
But I think it’s easier when you have a bunch of weight to lose, compared to the last 10-15…your body isn’t as willing to give it up.
I combined a bit of John Kiefer’s principals with this the last round and it worked great. I delayed have anything other then coffee (since coffee helps you kill the hunger signals, not all caffeine sources do this, just coffee) and I’d get my first meal in around 11. Definitely made things easier since my total calories were divided up into less meals since I wasn’t having breakfast.
coffeeeeeeeeee…maybe thats why Im not hungry til like right about now?
Or maybe I’ve done a great job at slowing my metabolism down. But I feel fine, buzzing around getting stuff done. I just went grocery shopping on an empty tummy even.
and generally, I have one or two big meals…which is why it doesn’t look like that much, but the portions are pretty big. So I guess I’m kinda lean gaining it?

I’ve been trying an intermittent fasting approach, eating once a day. It’s been pretty enjoyable, actually.
I’ve only been eating two different meals, alternated every other/every two days. This is either chicken breast with fat free cheese and romaine lettuce, or ground turkey breast with fat free cheese and broccoli. About 200g protein each day, sometimes less.
I definitely have more energy this week. If someone were to begin this diet from a more carb-based one, I think it would be wise to switch to low-carbs for a week or so beforehand. Otherwise it tends to hit you pretty hard.
Great minds think alike. I’ve been skipping my first meal and not eating till I before I workout at around 11 or noon.
