I reply only because I get the feeling that a lot of the previous posts have been by men quite older than you and I (21). The fact is that 8 partners for a 22 year old girl simply isn’t that much anymore. Maybe it was when the 30 and 40 year old married men who have been replying to your post were growing up, but I would venture to say that it’s well within whatever people consider “normal” these days. Think about this: if your woman lost her V at age 16 or before (like more than half of today’s youth does), that leaves 7 more partners over 6 to 7 years. That’s REALLY NOT THAT MUCH. Yeah a few of those will have been with boyfriends and probably a few one night stands (like most girls have had, don’t let 'em fool ya). But if you love her, don’t let a rather ordinary number like 8 bother you.

Danny, appreciate the insight from someone close to my age. And guys, appreciate all the jokes about getting with my girl. I happen to not be insecure about my abilities. I’ve been told by every girl i’ve been with i’ve been the best and based on reading their reaction I dont think they were lying at all. The girl i’ve been asking about has already gotten the best sex of her life, i’m quite capable and endowed in those areas. I was never uncertain that I was her best, by far, she made it clear from the start. I dont feel inadequate b/c she’s had more, it’s more the principle that she was willing to be with that many guys. Some think its a lot, others say no big deal. I do torture myself picturing what happened, especially the incident on the cruise, although that happened almost 4yrs ago and she supposedly regrets it. Her view is she’s experienced others and knows I’m what she wants, if she didnt do what she did she could be uncertain. And I believe that b/c she also talks about us living together and marrying someday, so I know i’m doing something right. And to the ladies, a situation that I’d like your opinions. Is it possible to be somewhat reserved and not consider sex a big deal, or be that great. Then to find one guy and that’s ALL you want, I mean, all the time. B/c that was how she was with me, claiming to never have been that way b4. But with her having several past partners, its hard to believe.
