Hey guys, I posted a Forum a whileback on needing help with ganing weight and progressing in the gym. So I wanted to post some progress that I’ve had over the last two months or so…
Squat before: 255
Squat now: 315
Bench before: 185
Bench now: 200
Weight before: 140
Weight now: 150
Deadlift before: 225
Deadlift now: 300
Curl before: 95
Curl now: 115
Shrug before: 100 (50 dumbells)
Shrug now: 205 (starting using barbell at the end of my reps on shrugs)
Changes: I started watching what I eat, and every morning I eat 2 whole wheat bagles with loads of peanut butter on them, Lunch 5 days a week is carrots with curd cheese, some type of meat (normally leftovers from the night before like meatloaf or pasta), an apple, some nuts, and a protein shake.
Also, I’ve been drinking some protein and creatine before every workout and it seems to be giving me that extra push (from the creatine) to do one more rep.
I’m hoping to keep it up and get strong in time for football season. Thanks for all the help guys!
