Lot of work. Pulls just keep going up. If there’s an outdoor place near you that sells mountainering stuff they have chaulk. Get mine from a place called the trailhead at about half the on-line weightlifting site price and no shipping cost. Not sure if Gander Mt has it.
Ditto hel’s advice. I picked up a bag a year ago for a three or four bucks, and it will easily last me another few years.
Or maybe I’m not using enough…

Set up poorly on the 435 and did not take enough time between pulls. Exhausted from the 6 days lifting in a row and my posterior chain is crushed.
'grats on finishing your 6 day lifting marathon! hope you get to take a few days off now…
Thanks SD, I played football for two hours yesterday and I’m not doing a damn thing today. Tomorrow its back to the grind.
I would have to say you’ve earned the reprieve.
Thank you two, I’m going to search the rock climbing places this weekend.
Cycle 9-Week 2-Day 2

6x360(+2 rep PR)
5x10x220

5x10x135
Standing EZ Curls

The good news was I hit all my numbers but my hips were really flying up and I was stiff legging every thing. I tried to slow down and correct it to mixed success. I guess I’ll just have to keep working on it.
dood - 6 at 360! you are killin’ me…
great PR!
Get chalk at Dicks sporting goods. It is by Mueller. Buy the whole box it costs like $16.
Good pulls - remember to keep the weight on your heels and drive you feet through the floor - while keeping your back arched.
Rick
Nice work Joe.
form is everthing.
I get chalk at EMS- its like a 1.99 for a block or 15 or so for the box.
fug it just use like laundry powder.
Great work, Joe. Strong pullin’. And form is a constant effort. I’m not sure that anyone is ever 100%.
Great deadlifting numbers. I agree with Skip. No one’s form is 100%. I’d take 80%.
6x360… You are a pulling dude!
Good looking deads. 6 at 360 is damn impressive.
Form is such a constant struggle. Something tells me that you won’t be dropping the weights in order to work on it though. ![]()

Thanks Rick, I’m going to go there this weekend. Thats a lot simpler than finding a climbing store.

I think I was at least at 80% but I do need to keep an eye on it.

Thanks, I’m just trying to stay north of vag and south of “Oh shit my spine!”

I’d like to say you are wrong…
Hi Joe, just caught up with your log and your pullin some strong numbers.
chalk: get it.
and when I was 19 I dated a senior professor who could have been my (youngish) grandad. Just sayin. There’s a lot of women put there who prefer mature, dependable and experienced over boys.

lol…
Amen!
Ditto on nlmain’s advice re chalk. A few dollars well spent, and the deads will feel completely different.
Joe, something tells me you enjoy being right around the vag area. Just an observation.
