I have been to sensitivity training because I hurt the feeling of other grown men.

I really don’t like cake very much but I will cut you for a good piece of pie.

When I was young I had both ricketts and a severe case of malnutrition which is why my legs look funny in my videos. Oddly though I was insanely fast as a teeen, sub 4.4 forty yard dash fast.

I am deathly allergic to onion and will go into anaphylactic shock if I swallow any.

I am a really good dancer.

I am crazy about holidays and make a big damn deal out of all of them.

My perfect weekend at home is full of college football, lifting and reading obscure economics texts.

I refuse to discuss religion or politics until I know someoen for a long time.

My friends are, for the most part, more important to me than my extended family. Its sort of joke through out our family that I must have been left on my parents doorstep because I’m nothing like any of my family.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled weight lifting log.

PS I’m also thinking about doing high rack pulls today because I am stupid like that.
You have to expound on the reason for the sensitivity training. You left us hanging!

A sub 4.4 40? That is freakin’ blazing! A 4.4 is still considered extremely fast in college and pro.

Allergic to onion? Never heard of such.

I am with you on the holidays. I LOVE them. And having kids just makes it better.

Yep, religion and politics are bad topics of discussion…with folks of opposing views. As long as they are civil, I can handle it, usually. It is when their, even civil, arguments are so obviously ridiculous, that I start running out of patience. If they are incapable of seeing that their view might be wrong, or skewed, I don’t want to talk about it.
Well you have to realize I was tiny…my junior year I was 5’ 11" 150-160lbs of lanky kid. I played both O and D at a really big high school, Corner Back on D and wishbone halfback. I was going to play at the next level but my senior year I took a hit during the playoffs and tore my left ACL and MCL, and my right ACl on the same play.

So when I say my knees are shot I mean shot…I’m still pretty fast though.
Size is irrelevant. That is fast.

Ouch! That was a very unlucky hit. How long until you were up and walking again?

Really walking easy, about six weeks or so. Remember back then the ACL was a big damn deal…

I got from both sides low and one up high and just crumpled.

They only agreed to do both knees at once if I could make sure I had around the clock care for the first few weeks because I couldn’t put weight on either foot.

you got me at pie…

you must wear a tie to work if you had to go to sensitivity training. i don’t know why that really pisses me off. what ever happened to just getting into a fist fight to solve a disagreement?? i didn’t realize i had feelings that could get hurt.

i’ve always had thick stubby legs and have been slow as shit…go figure.

when i was a kid if i got stung by a bee i would go into anyphlactic shock and almost died.

i’m a good dancer AND singer:)

i love to piss off people talking about politics. i don’t get it… nothing someone can say will change my mind or offend me, but some people can’t take having someone with a different opinion. i feel that it’s my job in life to torment these people and make them want to send me to sensitivity training:)

high rack pulls are such an ego lift:)

Oh I don’t get pissed off about politics at all. But I know too many people who get all twisted up by it.

I work at a University so everyone has to be sensitive about everything. I told them they had “all the upper body strength of a nine year old girl” because they were complaining about lifting very light boxes.

I am a TERRIBLE singer, no joke, I could get paid not to do it.

Yep, and since I can’t pull right now I’ve got to do something to ego boost.

I’d kill for my grandmother’s lemon meringe pie. She died before I appreciated family recipes. Also there used to be a resturant here that made lemon chess pie… It closed before anyone could record the recipe… Played O-line in high school. Had the priviledge of being beat to a pulp by 2 former NFL players…

I’m a politial cynic… lets discuss away!

Two men on this thread who love to dance? Too bad you don’t live closer . . .

And how long do you have to know someone before you’ll discuss politics and religion, Joe? Known me long enuf?

I don’t think your legs look funny, not even one bit.

The cake you don’t eat, I will. In return, I will give you my pie allotment.

I’d love to know why you like holidays. I just don’t get them, and I sorta would like to.

I would pay to see a video of a good song & dance number from the mighty MM.

If you post it here in Joe’s thread, no one else but the old fogies will know…

Damn Joe, a sub 4.4 40 is beyond impressive.

I was an economics major in college -I didn’t learn anything. What do you consider “obscure”?

Reeeally good dancer, strip sets,…ladies hes begging for that stripper pole!

I don’t know about the stripper pole but I think we would all like to see a few dance moves.
Joe, how about after one of your sets you show us a few steps?

I thought I was pretty fast way back when, but I never ran a 4.4 40. That’s damn fast. I thought there had to be some speed left in those legs what with the flag football and all.

my crazy family has traumatized me about holidays. I always dream for something quiet and simple and pleasant…never happens.

Joe: that rack pull was as awesome as pie. I need to add those back into my workouts.

Nice volume on your back day. You must be destroyed after a day like this.
