Because I’m small, there’s really only one sweet spot for my belt. Interesting question but I suppose a valid one for those of you who have options.
Can you change your avi to the pic with the pirate hat?
Probably not a good idea to have an avi of me looking like an idiot.

I’ve noticed people wear them in a variety of positions. I prefer it to be not super tight and I typically pull it low in the front before I start to lift.
Nice purchases with the foam roller and farmers walk bars. You’ll have a blast with the bars. I prefer a tennis ball for working out knots. Seriously its great to have another person do it for you on your back and hamstrings. It can really make you yodel sometimes though.

Okay so I have a, probably, stupid question. Is there a exact position on the body for a belt? Should it be sitting on my hips or should it be higher up on my torso?
Not stupid at all. It goes wherever you feel you need the most support. Usually that’s just above the hips. Some guys where it up towards the solar plexus for DLs. The best place is where you can generate the most pressure against it when you take a breath, since that air is what is really supporting the spine.
Thanks Tony, I’ll shift it around a bit and see what I can come up with.

I got the super dupper inzer lever belt so I might have to play around with it a lot. My first impression was that its not really comfortable anywhere.

Joe, the belt is probably not going to fit quite right until it gets broken in a little. Just crank it down and grit your teeth. Mine is a over a year old and it just keeps fitting better with time. It was a little uncomfortable at first.

Did you get the 10mm or 13mm? I need a new belt.
I got the 13mm and I have to admit I was surprised at just how thick that is. Its a monster.

Thanks man, thats what I was thinking. I’m just going to use it until it gets broken in.
Wear it as much as possible. Your bodyheat and sweat will make it coform to your body and soften it to some extent. Not sure I’d put a lever belt thru the dishwasher…
also remeber that inorder to properly use the belt you are tring to make your self have a beer belly in it take a huge belly of air and push into the belt it increase intraabdominal pressure and helps support the spine from the inside
Back is feeling better, though I might should have used the belt on the t-bars. I think I have a slightly pinched nerve in my low back somewhere. rest and inti-inflamatories are helping. With luck it will have worked it self out by next week for the begining of the cycle.
