'Power Eating' for Mass?

So I read this book called Power Eating…

The book indicated for someone trying to build mass/weight I should be eating…Based on 175lb body weight

Protein: 167 grams
Carbs: 487 Grams
Fat: 125 grams

Total: 3750 cals per day

Does everyone agree with this??

Trial and error my friend. You need to see what works for YOU and if you are new to training you probably shouldn’t get hung up on the macro ratios just eat lots of protein, healthy fats and see how your body responds to carbs. In any case though if youre in a “bulking” phase then eat those tastey carbs Mmmm.

I loose weight on something like this, just to let you know.

like the other post,you need to find what works for YOU.
everyone is different.

Up the protein if you can. This could work for you, of course, but I think more protein would be optimal.

Depends on how much cardio/metabolic/lifting you are doing.

On this diet:

Doing nothing ===> FAT
Lifting x3 week ===> Muscle + Fat
Lifting x3 week + 2x cardio ==> Muscle + Fatish
Lifting x3+ + Metabolic + Nepa ==> weightloss

and that’s really really really really simplified.

x2 on upping the protein, even doubling it. If you’re not gaining weight on that level of calories, up them as well. Don’t overthink it and don’t worry about eating too clean. A couple of Big Macs a week are ok.
