thanks man! my friend is working on a program for me focusing on lower body strength with some hypertrophy. hoping to squat double bodyweight for the first time in a few years by the end. ie 405 @ under 200. my goal for the end of the year is 440 @ 200

Hey Tork, did your practitioner ever have you do the Poliquin testosterone protocol or have you take any of the supplements by themselves? If so what was the outcome? I was looking into taking some tribulus, but read that it can cause mild gyno in men? Also, what type of fiber do you recommend taking with meals? Should fiber be used for X amount of days then rotated with another variety?

No i have never done the testosterone protocol, or any of the supps so i cant really speak to that. I HIGHLY doubt you would get gyno from trib. esp if you have been taking plenty of zinc (prob more effective).

I usually take supplemental fiber at the end of the day right after my last meal (used to take first thing in the morning, but im doing IF now so i skip it) and rotate between psylium husk, chea-seeds, and flax-seeds each week.

Overdrive: Tork is dead on with the fiber. Just make sure none of the products have bad additives.

As far as boosting test: why? Usually I find the people need to detox or lower estrogen rather than just raise test. Again, Tork is right, if you are aromatizing then adding more test will just be a problem over all. If you feel you are on the lower test side you may want to look into what may be causing estrogens to rise. you are right in that Trib can cause some funky problems I believe by screwing with SHGB. I don’t react well to it personally.

What are some ways to detox estrogen from the body. I know fiber can be used, but what other avenues would you recommend?

im probably not a good person to ask haha. my ham has always been high, and im pretty frustrated with it really.

fiber, dim, cal-d, I3C, green tea extract etc… are all things i have tried. I also try to avoid BPA etc… eat out of only glass, stainless steel and ceramic containers, avoid cosmetics, and parabins etc…

despite all this my hams are still my worst site. maybe Hips can bring another idea or 2 to the table as well.

do any of you guys think adding cal-d before bed at around 500mg be a good idea?

the 155kg front squat is 2.5kg over my old all time best, and i weigh about 7kg lighter then i did back then!!

started my new squat program.

got up to 345 for a double with an 8 second eccentric.

goal by the end of the program is do do 191kg/420lbs

My program is going well, legs, hips, and abdomen is leaning out.

Strength is up, anaerobic cardio is also improved, along with recovery.

i have done 190 at 96ish before when i was Weightlifting. so i would like to break that best at 90ish kgs.

Basically, I am addressing insulin and estrogen issues.

So I am going with compound lifts, with alternating running and biking sprint sessions.

Going paleo, lots of green fibrous veggies, with a mild carb up every 4 days, which might include either oatmeal, yam, or sweet potato. I am also pounding a concoction of green tea and cinnamon before my workouts, to help with insulin sensitivity.

I am getting some nice feedback from people (that I am leaning out), so I will adjust when I see results slow down.

I purchased the Poliquin topical Mag product, and want to know what dose you recommend for this ?

Maxi: different ways you can go

  1. 2 pumps behind each knee about 3 mins before bed.

  2. 1 pump in each elbow pit and 1 pump on both sides of the neck on the carotid artery.

I do number two, the product works by bypassing the gut barrier for those who have shitty digestion. The idea is to put it on places on the body where there is thin skin, that’s why Poliquin recommends the bottoms of kids feet to help them sleep, so I thought about where drug users shoot up, where can I rub it into a vein possibly.

I had to get a second job at a health-club until I earn more hours and/or a salary job with the Canadian Sports Centre, in order to pay the bills etc…

This facility has an infered Sauna and I was thinking about using it on my off days in the morning while im still fasted in order to possibly help my fat loss, esp from the hamstring and calves (which are my 2 worst sites)

I know that the infered sauna is supposed to be good for detox (ham) and for increasing GH (calves). has anyone tried this, or heard of anything positive from these sauna before?
