What about age. I’m 52, lost 43lbs since February, but still have another 20 to lose. I train at least four hours per week(1 hr per session). Fairly strict diet, but I’ve been stuck on 197lbs for over a month.
I have come along ways according to my gf.
Would I make a candidate or is my age a factor?
Thanks,

We’d like to get all age groups and physique goals represented as this goes on.
“If followed correctly, it destroys bad dietary behaviors, changes taste preferences, and stops binge eating.”
If that doesn’t sound worth it then nothing ever will. 6 week time commitment = a lifetime of postive dietary changes. I figure you lose fat during the program, and lose fat/keep fat off after the program because of all these positive changes - a win/win!
Man if I get picked for this, it would be the perfect time, if there is such a thing. Think about it: the time of year where most people fall off the cow, the time of year where it seems very likely that toxic friends will emerge.
And here you are showing that all it takes is a whole lot of hard work, persistance, and will power to bring pretty much any dream you may have into your reality. You not only show this to yourself, but to others around you that may use you as an example when considering what is possible.
This sounds like a great idea, even if we aren’t picked, my wife and I are going to give this a go. I could lose the 15-20, but she needs more help that I do, and this would make a great help to her especially this time of year when it seems that everyone blimps up.
As far as balls go, I’m pretty sure that between me and her, there’s at least 3 (figuratively speaking) that could take the V-Diet and run like hell with it.

I am also going to do the V-Diet regardless. Good luck to you and your wife.

I’m not sure. Mainly because I’m not sure anyone has the balls to not binge eat and drink on Christmas and New Year’s. God forbid the opportunity to change their lives for the better interfere with their gluttony…

Ironically, Christmas and New Year’s are the easiest time sticking to a diet for me (and about 10% of people, training for looks too probably). The “I’ll prove you wrong!” attitude is quite handy, this time of the year.
I’m surprised to see, that there aren’t any more people who have applied for the V-diet, since it holds the biggest benefit of all diets: The ability to effectively change your habits! If it can cure peoples “need” for “bad” food, it is a ticket to long term succes in this game. All along with getting your body fat to drop at an amazing rate.
I’m not a US resident, so I can’t sign up, so instead I will encourage people who haven’t done it already to do so! I’d really like for CS to find the perfect candidate, simply because I love to see amazing transformations, especially if they are done over very short time. And I’d very much like to see what the V-Diet is capable of, when used with 100% dedication, and the right training.
So sign up to give yourself a different kind of Christmas present this year. Visible abs!
I am surprised more people haven’t applied to do the V-diet. Guess they don’t think they can handle it. I just tried Surge for the first time today. Best thing I’ve ever tasted. It made me want to try Metabolic Drive very badly and if it is half as good as Surge I could live off that for a lot longer than 6 weeks.

Is the Physique Clinic only for men? I am interested but didn’t see it on Muscle With Attitude, nor did I see any women in the opening of the clinic.
Thanks,

We have several women signed up here at T-Nation’s PE. Around 40 or so signed up at MWA, and 3-4 signed up for the V-Diet PE.

Awesome!
About 50 in the running for the V-Diet spot right now.
I’m glad I read this thread this morning. I was half heartedly listening to my mom talk about her hair on the phone as I was reading it, and I blurted out to her “I’m not eating Christmas dinner this year.” She just said “good for you, anything you need us to cook let me know.”

That’s funny…I told my wife and my mother, and my mom said, “Then what are you bringing to Christmas to share?”
I don’t think the holiday’s will be a problem for someone who is seriously dedicated to this. If someone is weak enough to cheat during the holiday’s then they’ll cheat no matter the circumstances.

I don’t see a problem with someone enjoying a few holiday meals. It is false to say that just because someone will perform an act under one set of circumstances that they will repeat it under all possible circumstances.

Yeah that is the truth. I don’t even have any family up here in Wisconsin to have Christmas dinner with except my parents. All of my family lives in Milwaukee or Ohio. I wouldn’t eat Christmas dinner whether I got picked or not. And New Year’s? All of my friends from college would be at home for the Winter break anyways so no New Year’s Eve parties. Whoever gets picked is one lucky dude/chick.
