And that’s who I’m looking for for the V-Diet Physique Clinic: someone who can get rid of the flimsy excuses, get pissed off, and just do it.

I hardly think it’s an excuse to make a plan and stick to it. And this is the same reason I won’t apply for the regular Physique Clinic–I found something that’s working and I’m not about to give it up.
By the time spring rolls around, I won’t need more than your six weeks to get really lean. This has nothing to do with the holidays. You know what I had for Thanksgiving dinner? A big ol’ plate of freshly killed turkey, white meat only.
You know what, I’m just gonna apply, and you can decide if I’m full of shit.

I’m not sure. Mainly because I’m not sure anyone has the balls to not binge eat and drink on Christmas and New Year’s. God forbid the opportunity to change their lives for the better interfere with their gluttony…

I have the balls. Grandma’s food sucks anyways, and new years is for people who have nothing else to be happy about.

What, there’s no winter in Texas? Hell, here’s a pic from Easter!

I sure as hell do. If I have to choose between making myself look worse or finally looking the way I want, it’s a no brainer. V-Diet all the way.
Haha that is what I’d be doing for NEPA (wrapping up so much I could barely walk). I live in Wisconsin so it gets cold. I am used to the cold though and luckily my dog is too.
I’m not gonna sit here and give reasons why I wouldn’t eat junk food at christmas and drink on new year’s eve I’d much rather just shut up and prove it and be humiliated for life if I failed.

I’m curious if you’re looking for a fatbody or somebody looking to tighten up that last couple points? I’m not ready to diet down so I’m not asking for myself, like I say just curious. BTW, your attitude is right on in my book. No better way to waste time and resources than fiddle with somebody not committed enough.

It depends on the individual. Obviously it’s a fat loss plan, so I’m looking for someone that needs to lose at least 10 to 15 pounds. I don’t mind a very overweight person, but sometimes ripping 20 pounds off someone in 28 to 42 days (counting transition period) doesn’t seem all that visually dramatic if they have 40 more to lose. Oh, it’s a great start, and the V-Diet can be used by the very overweight, but I’m looking for a marketing angle here too: I want to pump up excitement about the upcoming book.
Ideally, I’d like to see someone with muscle and 15 to 25 pounds of fat to lose. I would try to avoid someone who’s fat but has ZERO muscle underneath to show once the fat is off. I’m looking for someone who can make a visual impact.
But right now I’m concerned mainly with attitude and dedication. I’d pick the ideal “mindset” candidate over other candidates. Not everyone is mentally ready for the V-Diet.

Just curious, how long does it usually take to know if you’ve been tossed out of consideration ?

Some are tossed the day they sign up because they’re 16 years old or non-US citizens. Right now we’re pretty much letting everyone else stay in the queue until we decide to pick new participants.
Queue in getting very packed though. 422 total and about 30 wanting in on the V-Diet challenge.
I’m surprised there’s only 30 in V-Diet queue. Then again, it is the Holiday’s I leave you boys & gals with a saying straight from somewhere in T-Nation that I have plastered in my old diet logs “Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!”
I’m going to be stuck at my in-laws this Christmas. Their cooking is sub par at best (sorry, I love you guys!). I didn’t eat when I was there last Thanksgiving either.
What about age. I’m 52, lost 43lbs since February, but still have another 20 to lose. I train at least four hours per week(1 hr per session). Fairly strict diet, but I’ve been stuck on 197lbs for over a month.
I have come along ways according to my gf.
Would I make a candidate or is my age a factor?
