USC,
I understand that you’re feeling down but and this is a big but, I think everyone will miss reading your posts because you have been theee standout participant, don’t get me wrong I see what gustavo is doing, but he is a dream for the coaches, because he has to drop body fat and he will look amazing.
You on the other hand were the participant that most of us looked to to see that with hard work we can get to places we never imagined our bodies could get to. You’re the inspiration.
Good luck
USC,
You have set the bar high with your work ethic, discipline, and dedication. What you lack in bodybuilding geared genetics is compensated in spades by your sheer grit, writing skill, and attitude. You are an inspiration to the common man. You show the rewards that perseverence in the face of all obstacles can bring. You will be in our hearts and minds as you serve your country. I hope Barack treats you guys great when he is president!!
I have no worries for your future. The character you so amply displayed will carry you far in whatever direction you choose. You have the skills to be a writer and I genuinely suggest you keep that in mind as a future career choice. You are at once earnest and entertaining. Maybe you will be a CNN commentator one day like Anderson Cooper. Hell they should use you to broadcast the Superbowl!!
My highest accolades to you. Be well and keep healthy. I will strive to ratchet up my own performance in many walks of life based on the lofty example you set in the military, volunteer firefighting, respect for your family and wife, and overall positive attitude.
Godspeed friend!!
Coach Thib,
All things remaining semi-constant, how much longer did you expect him to be bulking? What would his ‘cutting’ diet/workout look like?
Just wondering,
-Ryan.

Yeah, I am only two weeks into the Clinic. The first workout lasted 4 weeks and diet 5 weeks. So, im guessing that this new workout is for another 4 weeks. By then, I hope another small guy has joined the Physique Clinic. I wish I could, but I just cant make that commitment. I have 45hr a week job and im starting up a company on top of that. I wish I could though.
Yeah thats what I was thinking…
It WOULD be nice to see something if they dont decide to find another person, just so when I follow this (which i will) I’ll be able to have a guideline, even if it is a rough one…
Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
This is a tad disappointing, I liked following this one.
All the best USCTrojan619.
Trojan-
First of all, as having been active duty myself, and married to a retired Naval Corpman/paramedic, my thoughts and prayers go out to you for your deployment and safety (yeah, yeah, I know, it’s all gushy and mushy, but hey, what can I say!)
Secondly, it was great reading your Physique Clinic and all you gains you made in the short month!
I also think that it’s super cool that they let you keep the supplements! That shows a company that stands behind their products and aren’t just out for the profit!
I’m sorry that you only got to spend just a short time with your wife before you head out! (maybe you can use your small arms qual against him! Just kidding, but not really!)
Good luck!!!
Long time reader, first time poster. Not only did I start this the same time you did, but we have the same body type. I put on about 10 pounds and was really looking forward to seeing what the cutting phase would look like, but as you are well aware, life happens. Just yesterday someone broke into my house and stole 2 laptops, a Playstation 3, guns, and some expensive electronics. My point is, unfortunately, shit happens. Keep your head up, and know that you made us all proud. Best of luck to you and thanks for your hard work and dedication.
Trojan, sorry to see you leave… I liked your positive attitude and the speed at which you responded to posts. I know that must have been a ton of work. Good luck!!
USC, thanks for setting the bar higher. We are all a little better because of you. Stay safe over there, we’ll keep your legend alive.

Well the situation certainly sucks but don’t let it get the best of you. Make do with what you’ve got. We’ll all be rooting for you back here. Take care of yourself and thank you for all the inspiration.
Ah, I’m sorry to hear this happened! Your insight and reports of your days were fun to read. I’m not an ecto myself, nor american nor a male, but still enjoyed reading every experience you had.
Good luck to the future! Like everyone else says, I’m sure that you’ll manage just fine:) And thank you for sharing so much of your thoughts on the way.
Man, what a bad deal. Being former USAF active duty myself, I know how random deployments can really turn your plans on their head. Don’t feel like you’ve let anyone down. I’ve been following along with your PC from the beginning and think you were doing one hell of a job…making some real progress. The gym will be here when you get back. Spend as much quality time with your wife as you can, do your job, and then get back here and kick some ass all over again. Stay safe in the box brother.
Your situation sucks, but you’ve really made some nice progress. You’ve gone from looking like a boy to looking like a grown man, albeit one with plenty of room to improve. And no doubt you will once you come back from deployment with the knowledge you’ve attained and the discipline you’ve shown1
From one clinic member to another, from one person to another, god bless and be safe. Get back soon because you were making great progress and would love to see the finished product!
I’m not a Trojan fan per se, but Fight On!
you’ve been amazing this past month and it shows in your progress picture.
All i can say is thanks and good luck!!!
Good luck Trojan! You’ve done very well with this Clinic.
Thank you for your service, be safe!
thx for the inspiring ride USC
USC, I’m sorry this is happening to you, please tell me you can get some kind of rain check on your classes… or are getting someone to refund you. I imagine you don’t have much time for T-Nation as you have only like two days to patch everything up before you go.
