Physique Clinic discussion for gustavopacho

Good programs, good supps, and great coaches equal great results! This Physique Clinic was an unexpected gift worth waiting for.

Take it easy Beauzo!
No matter how good any of that stuff is it wouldn’t have worked without your determination dude. You’ve travelled a very hard road and others that have had this help have had nothing like the same results. It says a lot about you and Bart…

Don’t get me wrong I wish I was in the US so I could apply (but that’s about the only reason I’d want to be in the US and no AUS ;)…) but with these PCs to follow and you guys leading the way I reckon I’ve gotten 80% of it all. These PCs are great for everyone!

Don’t forget who did the work though

You’ve done an amazing job Gustavo! I bet you’re going to have to go boardshort shopping for this Summer to sport your new physique!

That brings up a question for Thibs or Shugs or anyone else that might know…

Is there a certain brand or type of swimsuit that you guys have found to be more “flattering” to your physique, whether you’re lean or simply just have a little left around the waist?

Awesome job once again Gus, your transformation is fantastic!!! I was looking at your pics from 4/13, and the pic titled ‘Misc. pics’ was something else, you look ridiculously shredded, and to see where you started at and where you are today shows a lot. Your dedication, hard work, and great attitude is working great for you.

Keep it going!!
Hey Tmoney1, thanks man! I actually thought those last pics weren’t that great. It’s just some days I like shredded and some days I look flat or watery. I thought I was holding some water on the last update pics. But, I’m glad they came out ok.

It’s been a very challenging yet rewarding journey and I do trip out when I look back at my old pics. I feel like a different person. And I’ve been getting so many compliments from people I know and the ones who haven’t seen me in awhile wonder if I got sick…ha ha! I just tell them that I decided to lean up. They still can’t believe I started on Christmas Eve…they thought I was crazy. Yeah, I am crazy and determined!

Thanks for the support and very kind words my friend. Take care Tmoney1.

Very nice of you to say Ozzyaaron! I hope the next batch of PC participants realize what kind of once in a lifetime opportunity this is. I took this whole thing to heart and wanted to milk every drop of the time I had here in the Physique Clinic! It paid off in so many ways for me and I’m just damn grateful for the chance here.

Take care Ozzy and thanks for stopping by!

Yeah, all my shorts are like size 36" waist which means I gotta go shopping. One of the drawbacks of getting shredded but it’s all good!

Don’t know what style is more complimentary to my physique, I have to check it out this weekend.

Go GUS!!! Wow, you made it man. You are sure enough into single digit body fat!!! I am GLAD for you. You have busted your butt and battled through life and an tough schedule but stuck it out.

I must say I am a little sad to see your PC go but CONGRATS! I am looking forward to the final pics.

Have you stopped long enough to let this sink in Gus? Your are sporting merely 8-9% body fat. You are in a bodubuilding state that has eluded you for a long, long time.

Big Props Bro!

Right on Ed, thank you man! It’s starting to sink in gradually. I mean, I’m still in work mode and just focused on getting some good pics in on Sunday.

It’ll probably hit me later though…ha ha! Yeah, I’ve been chasing this dragon for a long time and always wondered if I had the discipline and consistency to even get to a single digits.

I’m so glad this PC came along as it did and helped me discover that I had those qualities. I just needed that kick in the butt to wake up and get the work done!

Thanks for the kind words brother and take care!

Congratulations, Gus!

You look great! You must be so thrilled!

Where do you get the Dexa scans?

Gus, your progress is awesome and your hard work (your initial training that put all the muscle on as well as the program that stripped the fat off) shows through. Not sure if you haven;t posted this earlier, but I wonder what you looked like before you started lifting, how long you lifted and so forth. 210 pounds at 5’8" (20-ish percent body fat) is a lot of size for a natural (novice of course) WITH your proportions - before cutting down.

Woooooooooooo weeeeeeeeeee…Ma Man. You are looking super gangsta bro. Damn. I get so excited when I see others make such GREAT changes in their physique. It certainly keeps me motivated. MOST times I chat to guys I see in the gym, they are like, yeah Im just maintaining, bla bla…going out getting drunk every weekend, doing the exact same workout…You know…? Knowing that there are actually guys out there that are in different phases of training, trying different concepts, switching things up and actually logging their workouts really motivates me for THE GAME…haha. I may be rambling on a bit, but I think you get the picture.

Great transformation bro…You gonna hit a lean mass gain phase now? You will LOVE been able to actually see your muscles now, as they grow…with veins popping out, hehe.

Stay strong, mentally and physically.

Top of the morning to ya Gus!

Stellar progress as usual. Are you even flexing hard in your pictures man? It doesn’t look like it…which is amazing.

Which part of California do you live in? I need to get out to wherever the hell you are because those hills are amazing and look quite conducive to relaxation.

You set your mind on something, determined how bad you wanted it, and did what was nessecary to get it despite the difficulty. As far as life lessons go, we can all learn something from you.

The latest pics are imppressive Gus. Dang!

BUT is the NEXT TEST going to be the toughest for my man Gus? Gus, will you be able to comsume 200-300 gr. of junk as your last meal Fri. night!?!? LOL This may be the hardest part after being clean for so long.

I am sure you’ll dutifully handle like all the rest of the challenges but just thinking of doing that makes me a little ill. How about you?

Ed

Damn, buddy! Looking good!

WOW, Gus!

Those last pics are nothing short of AMAZING!

I LOVE seeing people’s Transformations; and yours ranks as one of the best I’ve seen in a while!

The sky is the limit now! In other words, you can take your physique in whatever direction you wish!

Gotta’ ask (but you don’t have to answer!):

Has your Transformation improved things in the…uh…“cuddling” department?

What does the wife think of all this?

Congratulations, friend!

Mufasa

Great pics dude. Whenever I am around people who have no clue about T-Nation, I always say, “Hey come come check this guy out”. It always ends up with them saying Wow, he looks awesome, especially from where you started. What in the world does your family say about how phenomenal you look now?

When I grow up, I want to look like Gus. Arms and shoulders are incredible.

Thanks DWD, it’s true what they say, “nothing taste as good as being in shape feels!” I’m having a good time with the old body now.

I get the DEXA scan performed at InView Medical Imaging and Vein Care Center in Fremont.

Take care DWD and train hard!

Thanks UKPM! I used a lot of progressive overload as my main training protocol. I was stuck on just pushing as much weight up as I can even with body english. It was part of a MAX-OT program I was on. Then I switched to a Waterbury HFT modified version and used the heavy weights on the 10 x 3 days and varied the other set/rep protocols. My thing was making sure to push for more and more weight!

I used to diet off and on with very little success and the last two years I decided to just eat up and lift heavy. I liked doing heavy laterals with 75 lbs, Bent rows with 3 wheels and lots of cheating, etc.,… Works great for size gains and eating everything I wanted helped to pack on the weight of course.

Plus, when I started getting older, the metabolism really slowed down and it was easier for me to pack on the weight. Which is not really a good thing for me…makes it harder to strip off the fat.

Hope it helps Bro!

It’s all good GJ, I get juiced too when I see other people working hard and making some real gains. I can’t help but get motivated too! It helps me realize that it is definitely possible to change the way you look if you train and eat right consistently!

I’m gonna harden up the muscles some more, so I’m going to keep eating clean and see if I can drop more fat. I do like CT’s new diet and wouldn’t mind giving that a shot after the Clinic. Don’t worry, I will be doing a Quality Mass Up program after the summer.

Take care GJ!
