Nah, serious…great job man! achieving/working towards your physical goals while having a busy schedule. you are a real inspiration to many out there!
Cool comparison pics Joe, thanks man! It’s not easy getting this done but I really want this goal and will work hard and diet strict to reach it.

Keep up the great work gus!
Wow, ha ha ha, I didn’t recognize myself when I first saw this side by side! These pic comparisons are crazy. I can’t believe that is me now.
Man, Thank You Brick Top for this pic set. Reality just slapped me in the face. I thought I was HUGE in my beginning pics but I’m loving my 35 pounds later physique way more! Thanks again my friend!

Just think what you’ll look like when you start putting size on…hell, I’m looking forward to that transformation.
That would be interesting Qaash. I’m going to mass up slowly(maybe extremely slowly) and keep visible abs while doing it(just like CT). I’m going to do that much, much later though!

How’s your transformation going Qaash?
It’s going well, I’m doing CT’s destroying fat program, my waist has stalled at 33" for the moment. I’m actually trying to get stronger on my lifts to promote more muscle growth and I’ve gone up on my protein intake.
But with that said, it takes work. Look at Gus and Bartl - These guys really put in the effort and the result is an amazing transformation.
Just remember that it is not easy. It does take A LOT of hard work to transform your body, the V-Diet is not “Easy”.
Sticking to the V-Diet displays strength, drive and determination. Working hard and working your ass off? Thats what really makes the V-Diet shine.
True, V-Diet is not easy. My results reflect the amount of effort I put into every little detail of the program. There are some hardcore V-Dieters like A-Dizz who are doing the program almost back to back. Now that takes some heart right there.
Gus, I am by no means hardcore. I took the easy route by upping cals and carbs in the transition and just doing the V-Diet all over again. I’m humbled by your compliments, but you’re the hardcore one. I would have never agreed to doing the NLT and ESW circuits, that stuff is downright batshit crazy.
I’ve been following your log all along and will continue to do so until it’s over.

Thanks Dizz, and I still like to give my respect and props to people who work hard towards their goals like you, Qaash, Sayjin and a bunch of other dedicated lifters on this site. Meeting most of you guys and gals on this thread has been very rewarding to me.
Awesome job once again Gus, your transformation is fantastic!!! I was looking at your pics from 4/13, and the pic titled ‘Misc. pics’ was something else, you look ridiculously shredded, and to see where you started at and where you are today shows a lot. Your dedication, hard work, and great attitude is working great for you.
Hey Gus -
Just wanted pop back in before the on-line part of your transformation draws to a close.
I continue to be in awe of the work you’ve done and the changes they’ve made in such an amazingly short amount of time.
You’re no kid with nothing but free-time on your hands, I know that things in my life certainly have a habit of demanding my attention and I’m sure it’s no different for you - and that makes the work even twice as impressive. I’ve no doubt at least a portion of your success is due in part to the support you’ve gotten from your family & friends, and that can be a tough thing to find sometimes…
ANYway, thanks again for the efforts you’ve made to share your work here @ T-Nation. And here’s wishing continued success as you go forward. Ya know, there’s more than a few guys that have taken a jump-start like this ant turned it into a career
Even as your PC draws near an end, I am impressed by how hard you keep working and how you maintain focus.
Success breeds success, and the more one sees results, the more it breeds enthusiasm to push for greater heights.
Keep reaching, my friend, the sky is the limit.
Thanks Xeneize! That is a great quote about success. I do want to keeping pushing to my full potential and I feel confident with my abilities more than ever!

Hey Don, thanks for the support and very cool words my brother.
Life can throw some brutal things your way and derail your progress but this time I kept a strong focus and grinded out some pretty hard times. It is not easy to keep up with everything sometimes but just quitting never produced anything for me.
I had great support from my wife, family and friends once they found out about my PC.(I held off telling anyone till after the first month except my wife)
The support I received from everyone on this PC discussion thread was overwhelming and a definite factor in my transformation. I can’t thank everyone who stopped by in here enough. You guys just rock! You guys were a huge part of my success and I wish I could shake everybody’s hand and thank you personally. It means much to me of the support I received here.
