Dang Gus, your results are outstanding to say the least. Your dedication and work ethic have been real ecncouragement to me and I know many others. Thanks so much for the example.
You have made a life changing and drastic body changing experience. Enjoy it.
I to am interested in how those around you have been affected. Watching your clinic has inspired me to clean up my diet and just that has changed a lot around my place and family’s place. Fill us in…
Gus, I must admit, your clinic is getting boring to me. You do exactly what your supposed to do week in and week out and get incredible results over and over again.
Is it too much to ask for you to mess up a little or something to make this exciting? =]
Your the man Gus without a doubt. If I ever get thoughts of this diet or workout is too hard or I look good enough now just be happy with how far you’ve come, I just think of before and after half-naked pictures of you and Bartl.
So a recap of two stages of my life
Pre T-Nation: Eat whatever I want and not think about half-naked dudes in times of weakness and be fat and probably die at the age of 45.
Post T-Nation: Eat whatever is carefully planned out for me, bust my ass in workouts, and think about half-naked dudes in times of weakness. This will extend my life by who knows how many years and improve the quality by about infinity.

Gus: I think it would be cool if your wife made a post (either here, or in your main PC thread) – your transformation has been stunning, but it would be interesting to read about the effect it has had not only on your own life and psyche, but also on those close to you. I imagine that maintaining the level of strictness that you have probably had both positive and perhaps some negative aspects for your relationships with others…would be interesting to read about your transformative process from their perspective(s).
I completely agree.
Gus, if possible, please ask your wife to post her comment on your transformation.

This being my first post - Maybe I’ll get flamed
But after being on the V-Diet for 2 weeks now and losing around 15-20 pounds of solid fat. I can attest that the V-Diet does work.

Pssst: it’s not 100% “pure fat” that you’ve lost.
Most of the weight you’ll lose in the initial stages of the Velocity Diet (or any low-carbohydrate diet for that matter) is water weight. I’m not sure that anyone in the history of the universe has lost 15 to 20 pounds of bodyfat in 2 weeks or less (via diet and exercise alone; e.g. no surgery). Regardless, great work so far, and if you are indeed 15-20 lbs lighter, I’m sure you’re thrilled with how drastically different you look. Keep it up!
Just saw the update pics and WOW ! You look great. Seriously if you did not mention it you would not even notice the pooch. You have come so far and been so disciplined with your approach i think everyone who has been following your PC will tip their hat and say Great Job !
Cheers

Thank you Damo53! Pooch is slowly going away though. I figure I built it over a couple of years and now I’m going to spend some time taking it off.
Been watching you from day one man… and today when I scrolled up from the bottom of your most recent page and saw your update pics, I literally said “holy shit!” outloud to myself and laughed (out of surprise). The abs look awesome man and don’t take this recent progress lightly. Keep on kicking, I know you will.

Ha ha, Good stuff man! I’m pushing this hard till the end. Thanks for stopping by Jamie!

I’ll see if I can get her to post, she is shy.
The negative part of being strict is that I need to have my food a certain way and when I need to eat, I NEED TO EAT!. I can get grumpy if I don’t have my food readily available and hey, that just how it is when you diet down.
I don’t play up my physique change since this is my own personal venture. But people can’t help but notice especially with my face and then my body since it is not as huge as it was before. Some people thought I got sick and didn’t think it was hard work and some people can’t get over the changes I’ve made.
The only people who have seen me shirtless is T-Nation and my wife ha ha! But that is when the radical changes are more apparant.
I just saw your update photos and am at a loss for words. It’ll just be a matter of more time until you’ll be able to kiss your “pooch” good-bye (that damn sucker!).
Your body’s proportions are awesome. I never would have guessed at the beginning of your PC that you’ve got a real bodybuilder’s physique under your layers of fat.
Gus, the bodybuilder.
Thanks FF, that is very nice to hear. I’ve always considered myself a bodybuilder since this is my passion but now I can finally start looking like one. Only took about 21-22 years Sheesh! Oh well better late than never!
Thanks again for the very cool words FF and take care!

Thanks Ed! Well my results got my older brother motivated and he finished the V-Diet. He went from 228 lbs to almost 200 lbs so far. His diet has now changed for the better and some of the guys in class are motivated to eat cleaner and train due to my visual results. My classmates don’t know about my PC and were used to seeing me at 215 lbs all last year! They are shocked that I’m walking around at 175 lbs and almost ripped.
I’m glad my results are motivating to others. I remember being so motivated to train and diet after seeing some of those old transformation contests in the BFL contests. It is always a good thing.

What the hell is wrong with me haha.
Ha ha, thanks Higgins! And Bartl & I are not half-naked, we are half-clothed ha ha! It’s all good Brother, I’ll grab motivation where I can and use it to fuel my training too.
But with that said, it takes work. Look at Gus and Bartl - These guys really put in the effort and the result is an amazing transformation.
Just remember that it is not easy. It does take A LOT of hard work to transform your body, the V-Diet is not “Easy”.
Sticking to the V-Diet displays strength, drive and determination. Working hard and working your ass off? Thats what really makes the V-Diet shine.
True, V-Diet is not easy. My results reflect the amount of effort I put into every little detail of the program. There are some hardcore V-Dieters like A-Dizz who are doing the program almost back to back. Now that takes some heart right there.
