Wasup “Machine”!!
How is it all going dude? So are you currently completing 3 TBT days and cardio on ALL off days? Is Chad going to add any more training days to your program once you are off the V-Diet?
Stay strong,
GJ

Hey Gus, congrats, you are an inspiration to us all. I’ve been following all the physique clinics since the start; but your success has inspired me to do the velocity diet for the first time.
I’m down 10# after two days and hoping tomorrow to see continued results.
I was just wondering if you had trouble getting all your shakes down at times? As long as I’m avoiding carbs, I have little appetite and I see the time approaching for the next shake and I’m in no mood to pound back another 20+oz. shake. Another observation of mine the past day and a half has been that I feel ‘sleepy’…NOT tired physically; but I could go back to bed at almost any time it seems. I wonder if you had similar observations? I’ve done low carb diets several times, but never this low on calories. I wonder if the drowsiness is a symptom of calorie deprivation?
One other thought…Do you think having your HSM the first weekend made the second week any harder or easier? I’m debating whether I want to take advantage of that or not as I have much more weight to lose than you did. Was there a calorie/size limit on your HSM?..or did it just have to be ‘clean’ eating?
Thank you,
Clay

I’m hitting full body sessions 3 x week and cardio daily still. Don’t know if Coach CW is going to add anything else since this is my last week on the transition phase.
Take it easy GJ!

For the critics, how much progress did you make in the last 28 days?
[/quote]Well I wasn’t overweight a month ago…
Nah just kidding. Awesome job so far! Keep going and remember, it’s a lifestyle. Stick with it, make it your own, and you won’t have to think about falling off the wagon (on the wagon? Seinfeld episode?) ![]()
Important question: Have the ladies taken notice? I’m sure they have.

Good job on the ten pound drop! Wow, two days.
I liked to make the shakes quick to slam so I only used 10 oz of water and it was fast to drink.
The V-Diet is the first diet I felt a “crash” on. Just gut it out and watch as it gets better and better each week. The combination of low calories and carbs is going to make one’s body adjust and for me the “crash” on the 6th day was it. After that I felt great. Even now on low calories and carbs, I have a lot of energy and can push even harder in my training sessions.
Remember to follow the plan to a “T” to get maximum results which means that you always get that HSM. It is your reward for each weekly effort and very important for those taste changes to kick in.
I enjoyed every HSM and the first one really makes you look forward to the second HSM.
I kept that meal around 500 calories give or take. I filled up too quick to eat anymore and sometimes didn’t even finish my meal. I also replaced my last two shakes for my weekly HSM so I can stay somewhat within my daily caloric intake. And I always kept it as clean as I could.
This is a challenging diet program and if you are going to seriously do it then do it right all the way to reap every benefit the V-Diet offers. Hope it helps Clay.

I’m definitely pushing hard till I reach my goal. Then I’ll just focus on what else needs to improve and attack that. I want to keep building on the success I’ve experienced. Kinda like how Coach CT just kept his physique improving after his own transformation. He looks unreal now and that dedication is impressive.
Only lady that really notices is my wife. She really loves how I look now. I’m friends with most of the girls in lab and class so I really don’t know if they notice anything since we are all in scrubs. It’s all good though cause I’m really happy with how I’m progressing and I’m enjoying every moment of this change!
Take it easy Viking
hehe yeah but you’re wife will love you no matter what. I’m talking about the girls licking their lips at you as you walk by hehe ![]()
Keep it up bro

Thanks for your response Gus. Reading that you felt a crash and survived helps me believe I can keep going. Honestly, I’m feeling much better today than yesterday…My mind was constantly thinking of reasons to justify quiting if I was going to feel this lousy.
The easy water losses seem to be gone…down another 1.5# today…while setting a new PR on deadlifts of 505#!!
Oooo, sweet deal! You’re really acing this, congrats and keep up the good work ![]()
Man, I can’t believe the deal that Tim Patterson has extended to Gus. What an opportunity. What an honor and privilege to have the backing and support of such a great team.
Congrats on the extension for the PC Gus! I think it’s really awesome. I really liked your PC (having been through the V-Diet before). It seems like you met all the obstacles with the right state of mind and faced them head on.
Chris, does this mean Gus’ PC thread will continue? Do we get to watch the “next level” trip?
Gus, I keep seeing you reference Shugs’ healthy alternative recipes…where are you finding these?
BTW: down 14# in four days and looking forward to Sundays HSM. Thanks for your help…I’ve been re-reading your entire thread and Physique Clinic.

Thanks Neya, this came as a surprise to me.

I know you guys get to watch the “next level” journey for sure! Should be really interesting.
If I wasn’t in this Physique Clinic, I would be reading and grabbing any tips that would help me. I love learning about any improvements in bodybuilding.

Damn, 14 lbs in 4 days is unreal! Awesome job SH! Post up some pics after you are done so we can see that great progress and end results. Don’t be shy man, it is all good and positive.
Take care SH and finish Strong!

Gus, you may be closer than you think
Visualize, Gus!!! VISUALIZE!! ![]()
Great progress!
Want to hear something funny, I showed your pics to one of the women I work with and she thought they were fake. Not because of the weight loss or anything, she was just so freaked out by your V-taper. I call that a success, sir.
Hey, did Chris give you the recipe for that baked eggs photo he had on your Clinic Thread? Those do look tasty…
