Gus, day number 1 done, 27 more to go. Until I’m done this is the most important thing in my life. Thank you for not failing! Looking at the bags of stuff I was going to take/eat today, I was in doubt, but after seeing your after pictures and reading your postings over again I knew that not only could I do it, but I would.
Two logistical questions for those doing/done the V-Diet: What constitutes a serving size for the PB and the flax? Last, what has worked better, premixed and bottled shakes or making them at the time?
Wow Gus, awesome work bro!!! I can definitely tell you have lost weight off your midsection, which really makes your upper back look huge and give you a good v-taper.

Keep strong and focused on your program Brick! You can do this and remember you get it done one shake at a time. Just take break it down and focus on getting your shakes in and keeping to the protocol. You will get great results if you do!
The serving size is what is on your PB or flax nutrition label. Mine are two tablespoons of each equals one serving. And make sure it all adds up calorie wise for your daily totals.
I premix the Chocolate or Vanilla with ice cubes if I need to go out. I keep the Strawberry and Banana separate(in a plastic baggie) and mix them with cold water in my shaker bottle(blender bottle is great) only when I drink them since they seem to gel up quicker.
The best shakes are usually with a blender and drinking it right on the spot. That can’t be beat.

Thanks Tmoney1. I’m glad my hard work is starting to show! Take care.
Bro, great progress. I’m sure you’re extremely excited about this new stage of leanness that you’re experiencing. You’ve obviously inspired a lot of people (myself included).
One question I’ve been meaning to ask you though. How often does your wife eat out? Does she eat out at restaurants/fast food for every meal? That’s gotta be killer on your budget not to mention a challenge for you day in and day out. Just an observation.

Thank you HL, I’m loving this new waist line. I wake up every morning and it just keeps looking better everyday. Good stuff!!

Ha ha! My wife has been eating out a bit lately but it is all good cause I’m not eating and adding to the budget. We actually saved more money this month with me not grazing as much as before. I used to eat fast food all the time and justify it with more cardio after training. Didn’t work too well for me. It was a merry go round of fat gain.
The first time we went to get Filipino food at a restaurant was on my 6th day of the V-Diet and that was not easy at all. The smells were driving me crazy and no taste changes had set in at that point in time. I just gutted it out, kept to the program and had her eat her food quickly!
So, I don’t recommend going to tempting places during the first 2 to 3 weeks, the tendency to cave in is present still. It is like putting a recovering crack head in a crack house! The chances at being compliant are not good at all. I say test yourself out if you have no choice around the 4th week to see just how strong you have gotten with the V-Diet.
I’ve been good at getting numb at food places in the beginning and now I’m just naturally numb to garbage food in general and I love it! This 4th week is really easy and I can see why people ask Chris if they can go on longer with the V-Diet. The progress is just so visual now.
Doing great man… I know you’ll keep it up.[/quote]
Thanks again HL and much success to you and your physique goals! I know you got the heart to get there!
I can’t believe you changed THAT much from the picture that is on the site’s home page! WOW! Your waist looks unreal now. Amazing job and results… so far!
Day 3 nearly in the books, only a few more hours.
Things I’ve learned: If you do the NEPA walk outside, make sure you dont get lost. My 45 min walk ended up at 1.5hr and made day 2 hell.
Important question, I’ve lost 7lbs as of the morning of day 3, how much is likely to be water? I’m 6’3" and was 24% BF before starting, so I have a lot to lose but i’m curious.
Gus, looking at the pictures on your Physique Clinic of your weekly meal made my mouth water. not long left till Saturday!
