The new pics look great! I know those two voices you’re talking about and have let the “you’re shrinking” voice keep me fatter than I’d like for too damn long.
Your progress and attitude are showing me what’s possible and really changing my mind about my own habits.
Keep up the good work!
Yeah, those head games can get out of control if you don’t stay focused. Take it easy Futuredave.

I’ve always wanted to see a before/after V-Diet pic. You’re not even done yet and you look absolutely amazing compared to when you first started. Definitely on your way to that beastly ripped look!
Kudos, bro.
Thank you for the kind words Whey Man! I’m hoping my delts get as ripped as yours Bro! Take care WM
I keep seeing references to the Shugart-approved V-diet cookie. Spent 20 mins. searching for it in the forums, but couldn’t find it – can someone link me to it? (p.s. it’s for my gf who is having a harder time on this than me)
p.p.s - the search function for these forums leaves a TON to be desired…if mods read this, you should look into improving it!

I have altered the recipe a bit after some experimentation. The result is more like a brownie than a cookie now.
Note: they do come out a bit dry, and take a while to eat. Which is nice when you are having trouble with constant protein shakes.
Vanilla cinnamon (yes, I know coconut oil is not on the V-diet. I use it in place of peanut butter some times)
2 scoops vanilla Metabolic Drive
1 serving (2 tbsp) flax meal
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 cup water
For any of the flavors:
Mix all ingredients.
Bake for about 8 minutes at 325 F.
I cook these in a mini-muffin tin (each cup holds 1.5 tbsp).
Each batch makes 6 mini-muffins.
Holy crap, your looking great man. I also had a fillet mignon for my solid meal Saturday and it was really good. The broccoli and plain sweet potato made the whole thing outstanding. I’m right behind you and day 20’s weigh in for me had me down 16.5 pounds from where I started.
Congrats on your hard work and an amazing effort you’ve put out there to accomplish this goal.
My apologies if you answered this question I posed a week ago, but:
Why are you only taking 3 BCAA tabs at a time when other guys like USC are doing a min of 5? Is 3 enough to ‘flip the anabolic switch’ ?
Just curious. Awesome photos!
Chris actually answered your question on my main Physique Clinic thread.

Chris, do you have an answer for this member’s question.
Can you ask Shugart or Waterbury why you are only taking 3 BCAA at a time, when guys like USC are taking at least 5? Is 3 pills enough to turn the ‘anabolic switch’ on? It comes out to 3.6g of BCAA but I thought 5g + was ideal.
Your goal is muscle retention, not muscle gain. And in all honestly, you probably didn’t need to BCAA at all, not with 5-6 protein shakes a day plus Surge (tons of BCAA already there) PLUS the muscle-retaining effects of HOT-ROX Extreme.
BCAA isn’t part of the regular V-Diet program and I didn’t use them myself when formulating the plan. But they can’t hurt, and given your large amount of muscle mass I wanted to make sure you maintained it all, so a “light” BCAA protocol was prescribed.
And 3 Biotest BCAA tablets is the recommended serving, BTW. That’s 900 mg of L-isoluceine, 1620 mg of L-leucine, and 1080 mg of L-valine – the exact ratio found in muscle – per serving x 4 servings a day.
But seriously, you’re looking great! You’re hard work is paying off well.
Ha ha! Thanks for the compliment Neya! I got a long ways to go before I’m considered “eye candy.”
I know you’ve encountered a few speed bumps in your life but just keep strong to your program and yourself. You can achieve so much in your Physique Clinic, it is all in how you keep your state of mind. I give you a lot of props for all the progress you’ve made. Take care!
I’m trying these out on Thursday night! Daven you are the man! Thanks for your great recipes, I’m sure many V-Dieters will thank you for these on week 2!

That Filet Mignon melts like butter in my mouth when I eat it. I miss it already ha ha!
Day 20 and down 16.5 pounds, great job Texmac! I know you’re feeling good right about now! Don’t know about you but I have a feeling summertime will be a little bit more enjoyable! Again, great job!
