175x12-my boyfriend said I had at least two more but I didn’t want to be greedy and I think sometimes its better to err on the side of caution with higher reps sets…I would rather not squeek out two reps with shaky form at the end of a long set on something like a back squat

This weekend was not optimal for eating but I am trying. I really need to stop cheating so much on the weekends if I am ever going to really take pride in my physique. Oh well, I’ll keep bashing my head so to speak and it will either take one day or it won’t. My nutrition during the week is on target, at least.
Tomorrow I think I’m going to do box squats. I haven’t had any issues with the left knee in a long time and I’d like to keep it that way. Box squats generally put less pressure on my knees so they’re a go for tomorrow.

ooo OK!! Yes, yes I think the 3x/week is working really well for me, esp with my schedule. Any kind of body part split is pretty worthless for my goals right now because I still need to make some significant gains I think. The 3x/week is allowing me to work a little harder during my sessions too because I have that much more recovery time. I’m alternating box squats with regular back squats which I think it going to keep me from stagnating a bit too. I should probably figure out how to front squat. Also more prehab work. I might move from this into a 4 day split a little closer to the end of the year depending on how I progress.
Awwh thanks y’all are two sweet to me!! I am trying, I really am. I am happy with my body, but I think it has been stagnating for awhile. I am back to logging food now so hoping to make progress and just clean up a little. I think I am entering a period of higher motivation, so I am going to roll with it for sure!!
I went on a minor bender this weekend did some damage with the alcohol, so I took today off from training to give my body some extended rest. Definitely won’t be doing that again any time soon!!

In other news, I am now engaged…YAY!!! it was a total surprise and I am thrilled. We have been best friends and partners for over three years now and now we are getting married
