Other Unhealthy Habits of Bodybuilders

I just watched this for the first time… I howled. Great 20 minutes before bed for some good times.

What is best is the irony and how right this Bostin is. He’ll get flack, but he’s right.

“Really bro, gotta shoot oil in your ass?” Lol!!

“I haven’t done it, and if I was in that situation, why the fuck not?” And Kai gains some bonus points with Bostin’s fans.

So we know that Test has multiple strains - Cyp, Prop, Enan, and I think there’s one other one… maybe not. Anyways, those are all strains of Testosterone. Perhaps I am crossing my genetics with substances, but if you look at something like the flu and how it has different “strains” of the flu - swine flu, bird flu, etc. etc. all grouped under “flu” with similar symptoms, but still different.

I don’t know if that’s officially what they are referred to, and I don’t know how they make the stuff. But if you need to heat something to a certain temperature or mix ‘x’ and ‘y’ items with a bit of ‘z’ to create it, if you screw up the process, chemistry dictates you could create a resulting compound different than the one intended. Temperature, pressure, all affect how chemicals react with each other and bind once broken down.

So the result is quite possibly a compound similar to what you intended, but not exact. Ie, a different strain. If I had to guess, it was by accident that real labs found the different strains of Testosterone. Once technology got better, we could better understand what we were producing and how we produced it. How we could manipulate similar individual compounds to create new ones.

Also probably why they come up with new stuff every day. Similar to inventions, a lot is by accident, or stumbling into it.[/quote]

As far the organic chemistry stuff goes, I think you’re referring to minor products? As in, many organic chem reactions involve formation of major (usually the one we want) and minor products because even under conditions that favour the desired product, other, less favourable, reaction mechanisms are still possible. Sometimes, the unwanted minor products can be toxic, and without any quality control system, we have no way of knowing purity. There is also little incentive for UGLs to spend more money to remove minor products in the interest of the health of its users, so I think it’s safe to assume questionable purity.
