Oh, and please explain to me how the fuck you go from 254 to 256? Is he using fucking 5.75 pound plates? what the fuck? He is big no doubt, but at least make your stats believable.

ALSO(pertaining to prof.X’s comment): How could he gain 65 lbs in 3yrs??? According to a recent article by Christian Thibaudeau, you can only gain 1.5 lbs per month ONLY IF everything (training/diet/genetics) is perfect. 3yrs=36months…times 1.5 lbs equals 54 lbs.

Am I out of line here?
Bodybuilding.com uses it’s own formula based on numbers you enter for reps to calculate your one rep maximum. That isn’t the number he put in.

And about the being limited by someone else told is ummm yeah, way the eff out line but if you want to set limitations on your goals from what you heard on the internet then cool for you.

Old superman is hardcore and he supports the troops. Seems like a really cool dude from his video. I guess for some people when a Dr. says your gonna die if you don’t change what your doing your body some actually listen.

I don’t, I know that there are special cases and EVERYONE is different.

CT and myself have even discussed this publicly several times and some of you still don’t get it. Some of you have the reading comprehension and life experience of someone who has been locked in a basement for the first half of their life…
Glad you’re not talking about me…My suggestion for you from now on, quit with the “Some of you” bullshit that is in 99% of your comments, and go with something like “you and others”. I went and re-read the article and I see your point.

Christian Thibaudeau: “Since most people will add around 1.5 pounds of muscle per month under ideal circumstances, and you can’t increase that amount by force-feeding yourself, which one of the following situations is better?”

Ok, so I was off, got it, thanks.
This is no different than when I told CT that his comment in one article would have every newb thinking they should never go above 10% body fat. He didn’t write it wrong…the rest of you just can’t read right.
just trying to learn man, really.

Is this one quote seriously the cause of all the controversy?
Johnny T Frisk wrote:

This could be a topic all by itself because it happens too often.

This doesn’t seem to ever come from people who got big though…it is always just the guys who likely won’t ever be able to do the same.

Weak jealous fuckers rule the world.

And I seriously don’t get that…I see a huge, yoked guy, I don’t hate him, accuse him of using steroids or any of the bs. If I have any questions, it’s what did you do? And if I have any jealousy, it’s envy and a desire to get to his level. I just don’t get the hatred and jealousy.

???

The gains I made the first three years were about 60lbs or more. I just didn’t diet down seriously for the first time until I was over 220lbs or somewhere around there. I remember I was over 190lbs after my first year lifting seriously even though all of that gain obviously wasn’t muscle mass…which is 40lbs.

Maybe I misunderstood your post.
Yea, you did, go look at his body weight chart again. There is a steady line gain from 160 to 210? Followed by a steady line drop which must be his cut from 210 to 165-170?, Then the line drops steeply for a very short period and it drops down to what looks like 125-130. This is in about Nov-Dec 2009. Then immediately following the drop to 125-130 he gets back up to 210-215 in what appears to be a week or two tops. The he gains a little more at the end under a much more natural looking line. I Have to think it’s an error, I cant see anyone gaining close to 90 lbs in a couple weeks, unless the kid just walked out of chemotherapy or a concentration camp.

V

I just looked at his blog, that chart does not represent what his bodyweight was, he clearly has pictures of from oct & nov 2009 and he is at 213 in them. so that chart is just messed up or something.

Considering his body fat chart does not show any sudden drops like that, yes, I would say that was a mistake. He bulked up and then cut back down…the same thing 99% of the other really big guys did even if they don’t admit it.

How could that be an error? Just because this guy is successful then “there must be an error”. quit imposing limitations on yourself just because you have never seen such gains. blah blah blah. This guy did his work and gained 90lbs in 3 weeks live with it, he is just a much harder worker than you etc.

Why is it that when guys see someone bigger than them they think its a lie, or theres something wrong, or “hes just on steroids”? jelly?

In all honesty: PROF.X I have a question for you.

You say that 99% of big guys did the bulk/cut to get to where they are even if they don’t admit it (I read your short post like 3 times hopefully I grasped what you were saying). BUT, I am confused, because I read an article on here recently where the author (can’t remember who) was saying that he knew someone who went the opposite direction who got skinny/lean and then began to just EXPLODE into a big lean guy. Is this maybe just a genetic freak? maybe the 1%? I don’t have the article right now (the search function has been fucked recently, all I get in the results are forum posts, when I switch the results to “articles” I get NO search results, anyone know whats up with that?)
Again, I am just trying to learn the best way to get big and I hear conflicting ideas everywhere I go.

I like to get reactions out of people. Mostly a joke, this is kinda like what I was noticing when I was looking at the graphs, but of course everyone jumped on me for saying that things didn’t seem right. I never intended to take anything away from the guy, obviously he is huge, it’s just that the numbers etc. didn’t seem right. And Honestly I DON’T KNOW, but could someone give me an educated opinion on whether or not this guy is using gear? Seriously, is it possible to get like that without it, especially in that amount of time?

Just out of curiosity, what do you do for a living?

You currently have Alex Raymond, Synergy, Sloh and myself who have all bulked up in the past making better progress than 90% of the people here…but you ignore this to listen to a story of ONE GUY who was apparently already bulked up, who lost weight and then went back up…and you don’t think there is a connection?

While there are no doubt a few guys out there with the genetics to stay under 10% body fat while gaining 50+lbs of lean body mass AFTER GROWING IN HEIGHT (sad that this needs to be clarified), but why would you follow what worked for the least number of people across the board?

part-time telemarketer (lol) and student studying mechanical engineering. Well thanks for answering my question. My limitation right now is eating, I work out 4-5 days a week. My consistency will NEVER change, I absolutely love working out, but im not getting the gains I want so I am asking a lot of questions right now to hopefully change that.

I think it was Dan John who said he had a kid do that. I also believe it all depends on YOUR situation. If your not making the progress you want, try something else. Try something for 4 months. If it doesn’t get you the results you want try a different approach. In the end, if you want to be a mass monster type guy, you aree going to have to lift a lot and eat a lot. It’s pretty simple. If you want to be big and athletic, built like AP or Thomas Jones, you gotta work out like an NFL Running Back.

If you want to be built like me, train in 100 Times gravity and consume copious amounts of sensu beans.

Puberty? Seriously, I’ve never believed that 1.5 lbs a month stuff, especially for growing teenagers. Too much anecdotal evidence to the contrary imo.

While I’m not that lean right now, I’ve gained over 40 lbs in slightly less then 2 years years and actually have decreased body fat percentage. This was all done with pretty poor eating, and most probably a far worse diet then what this guy did. If I could almost push it to the supposed limit, I’m sure a guy like this with drive and dedication could blow past it at his age. His gains are great, far better theHn 99% of people’s but I for one wouldn’t immedaitly assume hes on shit. Wouldn’t be suprised if he was, but I like to give the benifit of the doubt. Either way it doesn’t matter, for 17 hes jacked as fuck.

I’m sure this guy has been in a thread on here before. I think SickAbs found a picture of him on Facebook, and it turned out he was actually in college, and not 17 at all. He was also asking for donations on his website, if I recall correctly.

In college? All that means to me is that I won’t be going to jail. Score.
