Why? Do they only let you in if you are ripped? Who are you trying to impress?

If your going into the armed services you better be doing some pushups, situps and running everyday. That first couple of weeks is going to be hell.
If you are at 11%, I would try to keep it, because you will need all the energy you body can give. IMO, believe me.

65 pushups in 70 seconds
60 situps in 95 seconds
14 minutes 45 seconds 2mile run
Im good man. By leave date(not specified yet) i will ace the PT. Im trying to impress my wife & family + all my co-workers. Plus there is a bet on it too. If i fail, microwaved Alpo with broccoli. Tasty huh? 8{

I think its going to be smooth sailing all the way but i might be wrong. Im only at day 2. Ill keep updating.

Today was my first day on the same diet and guess what…
I PUKED UP MY LEFT NUT!
wow…this thread is messy to say the least. theres a lot of shit going on there. i have to say i dont understand why the original poster is doing this. honestly, if i were about to go in id be damn sure that i was doing whatever was necessary for specifically what i was about to go through.
no matter what you look like the day you go, if youre following this kind of diet up until you go you might as well not even go. you think this is what the air force is going to feed you? i guess sometimes people dont understand that the training doesnt only happen between the times you enter the door of the gym and when you leave it.
right now you are training your body to be able to do these pushups and situps and runs and shit based on this ridiculous medley of fuel that you are putting in it.
what will happen when you are off with the air force and they are not feeding you this shit? i can almost guarantee you that you are heading towards a disaster. forget the “why is he cutting at 11%bf at under 200lbs” which i would normally throw out there, but if you are concerned AT ALL with how you will perform, in even normal, every day function type things, i would stop what you are doing immediately.
im all for experimenting and seeing what works and what doesnt, but wouldnt it perhaps be a better idea to do so at some other time?

Good to hear you still have the right one.
Why don’t you just do the V-diet? baffling to me. Unless you just want to be different.
We already know that works.
I don’t think its a good idea to have that high amount of fat at the same time with a high amount of carbs. Having a big insulin spike with that much fat along with it is a step in the wrong direction.Try back loading the fats with protein as your last 2/3 meals.
I just don’t get the point of this exercise. If you are going to join the military, you would need some fat reserves. Ripped is for the beach, not for a week under a tarp in winter.
Go for strength and endurance. The important thing is what you can do, not how you look.
Day 5 on Speed. All Good.
Appreciate all the replies. I wont leave until Jan 2007. I have enough time to improve my physique in all areas. I know what the USAF has to offer. Im not a dumb kid trying something new. I know what i want and when. And its not shit im eating, alright? Communicate properly. Thanks.
No insulin spike whatsoever. The beans slow everything down. Read Dr. Lowery Good Grains article. Dr. Berardi suggests to eat fruit and veggies with all meals. The spike associated with them doesnt intefere with fat intake because the shake is made with all ingredients at the same time, diluted with water to achieve 3L to be divided equally for the whole day (5x = 20oz). The amount of fat and carb are so small it really doesnt matter. I have good results so far.
When did it become a rule to have a degree in Communications to post? What mess are you talking about? You expect me to post every other question in a new thread ? How about you read more of the forum to see the mess that is. Stay on the subject people if you please. If you dont have anything cool to say that could help or you just want to say “die newbie” then dont post.
Good Day all.
what do you want people to say about this? people tell you its a bad idea> you reply, no im good. no one said “die newbie” so get your panties out of a twist. it seems to me youre pretty damn set in what you are going to do, so why dont you do it, then post the results. in the mean time, since you arent going to listen to what anyones saying to you, you might as well shut up. as far as your post being messy, i thought it was, so did other people, which could lead you to the conclusion that it is messy. besides you leaving out words to make sentences make sense gramatically, you also indicated that you were doing this diet/exercise for three weeks, in preparation to leave for the air force. im sure that i was not the only one that looked at that information and figured maybe you meant that you were then also leaving for the air force in about 3 weeks. therefore, yea, it would be a stupid thing for you to do getting ready to leave. had i, or anyone else, known that you were in fact leaving a fucking year from now, im sure most replies would have been along the lines of “i dont think i could eat that shit, but good luck” or “wow i think id puke if i ate that shit, but good luck” and i certainly would have not told you it was a bad idea “getting ready to go in” because you are in fact a year away from it. you could follow just about any diet, crash or otherwise, and recover for it in 11 months. you could also be smart about your diet, stick to something that was practical and healthy for the next year, and drastically change not only your body composition but also your strength, endurance, speed, etc. and really prepare yourself to do whatever comes your way in the air force. your call. btw, if i want to refer to what you are eating as shit, im going to. i think just about anyone that is sane would call it the same thing. taking offense to a way in which someone referred to your food is being a bit sensitive, dont you think? i doubt you enjoy the taste of this “shake” that you whip up in your blender. you are ridiculous
Ok panties are put away. Yeah i messed up in explaining well. I actually enjoy the shakes taste. I added Grow! today & it tasted kinda artificial. I like the technology behind Grow! but the taste is to candy-like. I was raised on a small island eating veggies, nuts & fruit from the backyard and of course beef & birds.
Hence i enjoy my natural shakes. Actually CytoSport complete whey lets the blueberries taste come out. Grow! failed to do that. I will continue to drink Grow! but maybe as desert or just get used to it. Superior protein anyways.
I was out of line with the “die” thing. Im latino so i fuck up trying to express full sentences. Apologies to all.
Unhealthy? Isnt the V-Diet worse? Protein, Flax & Fish oil. I have a variety of whole food in liquid form thats all.
Talking to people that share the same lifestyle and taking there advice is one reason i post. Constructive criticism is also good. i dont mind flames and talking shit. Its all good. Just want to fit in, for once.
Slap taken.

Just curious- Is NAC a new abreviation for table salt= sodium chloride =NaC?
Cause if they are now selling table salt as a supplement, I am going to shit myself and possibly even someone else.

Didn’t see anyone else answer this, so no NAC is not table salt. It’s N-Acetyl Cysteine.
Communication problems aside, this is really cool.
Keep us updated! Anytime someone is willing to experiment and post, I’m all for it.

Tell that to Lance.
Peoples thanks for the support. Today i had a solid meal at 630p. A full rack of BBQ pork ribs and 3 cups of broccoli with butter and a loaf of bread. My brother is leaving back to our island home Puerto Rico so i decided to eat with him. Next solid meal will be in 7 days.
1000pm
55 pushups 42sec (USAF req. 62/min)
49 situps in 1min (req. 55/min)
I see a lot of detail in my body never seen before. No signs of muscle lost. My legs are cool. I love my face now better than before. My wife loves it. Abs are more defined.
Note: I believe my position to the camera makes it look like a slight imbalance
