I haven’t posted my PR’s here in awhile. It has also been a very, very, long time since I have put anything over my head that could even be considered moderately heavy.
Pretty good stuff here. How much are you weighing in at these days?
Comp style bench: 115kg x 1
164-ish I am keeping my status quo for overhead strength. Which is to always be able to strict press more than body weight.
Holy Shit. My hammies have never been this sore. But I think incorporating Straight Leg Deads will help me with my current goals a lot. (Power Clean BWX3 [which i’m about 20 pounds off of] and correct a minor anterior pelvic tilt causing back pain)

Nice! That’s a really solid press. Are pressing movements naturally favoured for you or is there something special you’re doing for them?
CoC #1 - 10 easy reps with right hand, 8 with left hand.

Overhead pressing has naturally been something I’ve been good at. However benching is horrific to train without the conjugate method, and lots of heavy tricep/lockout/mid range work. When the two were the closest it was last fall at something like 155-160 overhead and 175 bench.
In between matches at a BJJ tournament; the host club had a weight room and I wanted to prove to our heavyweight that he should really be able to do chinups. Mind you, I barely managed to get my chin over the bar and it was slow; still, that’s a chin up max with just over 1.5x bodyweight.

I never knew how beastly my overhead press was. Still, great that you got a PR.
Thanks! You’re really good for your BW! I think part of the reason I suck so much is the people I train with. My powerlifting club has a lot of good squatters and really good deadlifters, but we collectively suck at benching and (especially) pressing. I’m in the same mold lol.
Today I did:
Conventional deads: 180kg x 9, 15s rest while I threw on some straps, and got 2 more.
Farmer’s walks (with straps): 457lbs total weight for 2 laps and 2 lengths (a length would be about 45 feet or so).

I train with no one, but I used to be an awful bencher, and squatter. To be honest at this point I am just a decent squatter compared to my deadlift. But it is pretty awesome to have at least two lifts I am good at.
Just bought me some oly shoes and knee sleeves and was messing around with them today, hitting some heavy singles. Got up to 375lbs x 1. Also closed CoC #1.5 for 7 reps with my right hand.
