God damn, that’s an awesome front squat! BTN jerk was good too, you made it look easy.
My PR:
Conventional deadlift: 177.5kg x 11, straps on last 3 reps. That 405 x 10 challenge will be my bitch before the end of the year for sure!
Weight PR: Weighed in at 191lbs today.

conventional good mornings off #12 pin (how I would start a deadlift) 185X5 fuck yeah, my erectors are awesome
(kidding)
squatting band pull through doubled light+doubled mini+doubled microX11
Some of my PR’s today. I really want to do some pulling off the floor. I feel like I could easily wreck 370, and hit a rough 375-380. ![]()
Squat-295x7 on 5/3/1 1’s day
Finally have something to post here.
Been doing 5/3/1 for four months, and today I got my original 1RM in the front squat (90kg/200lbs) for 7 reps.
Feels good to have a reliable measurement of improvement!
I’m looking forward to repping out 100kg in a couple of months as it’s a bit of a mental barrier for me.
PL squat: 150kg x 4, 4th rep had a slight bit of assistance from my spotter. Was pleased because I hit this after doing a set of 147.5kg x 3.
Yesterday, I hit 405x2 dl at 160.
Shoulders today, Going for a bodyweight shoulder press.
OHP: 64kg x 3, plus 2 more push presses.
It’s a small, crappy PR, but I’m a terrible presser, so I’ll take whatever I can get ![]()

It sure is, which is why I’m not complaining. Hell, when it comes to pressing, if it’s going up I’m thrilled already LOL.
But on to my awesomely massive PR of the day:
Last training cycle I PR’d on the deadlift with 181kg x 5, then 15s rest/pause (putting on straps), and 2 more with straps.
This cycle I hit 185kg (408lbs) x 8 without straps, 15s rest/pause, and 1 grinder with straps.
This makes me very, very happy because it means that, for the first time, my deadlift is no longer limited by my grip (I used to use straps all the time).
got 3 sets of 5 on standing shoulder presses for 52.5kg (115lbs) at 60kg bodyweight (132lbs) ytd.
aiming for bodyweight presses for sets across by october!
225 push press, 5lbs PR. That’s bodyweight overhead finally.
185x7 push press for a 2rep PR at that weight.
squat 270x16
500lbs for 5 off a 4in Block Deadlift
squatted 135 x 3 x 5
first time doing plates since i hurt my knee. It’s so boring at these weights.
going to switch it up next week… only squatting twice a week, but w/ a 10 lb jump every other workout instead of usual 5.
CoC #1 - Worked up to sets of 5 with each hand
CoC #1.5 - Nice, easy full close with right hand
CoC #2 - 1cm left to go
I really pushed myself to make 300lbs in the Squat my bitch.
Landed on my ass twice as I could not get out of the hole but then finally made it with my third attempt.
Got myself a popped blood vessel in the eye and an exertion headache from it.
