Sure is, and thanks ![]()
Haven’t seen you post any numbers here lately, but I imagine zraw’s been getting you to do all kinds of awesome stuff instead. How’s that been going btw?
High bar squats 155x30. Cycling home was a special treat… A very lengthy special treat.

a few numbers ive thrown up, not much but im happy with them ![]()
bench 205 x 5
squat 255 x 5
deadlift 315 x 5
bw around 164lbs
OHP: 55kg x 8
Did some farmer’s walks (with straps) with 195lbs/hand too.
Also finished my 5/3/1 BBB workout in 45 min. I think that’s a PR for the shortest I’ve ever trained.
300X3 ultra wide sumo deadlifts
175X12 arched back extra wide stance good morning
I have the video of the deadlifts in my log. I was unintentionally stiff legging them today because I forgot an important form cue.

LOL you must have, it would seem rather difficult to stiff-leg sumo deads. I’ll have to check out the vid. Out of curiosity, how’s your body handling sumo? I really liked it, but had to give it up because of hip issues.

Fine, I just stretch the hip flexors from time to time, and try to get better mobility (widen out stance/go deeper/go from deficit). Most of the issues I have ever found from wide stance work (both squatting and pulling) were just caused from lack of mobility/form issues.
bench-200x12

One name for you: Dan John. High rep squats are virtually the only exercise that has ever allowed me to SEE my muscles grow… Next week it’ll be 165x30.
Well, week 1 of 5/3/1 BBB is complete.
Hit 162.5kg x 10 conventional deadlifts which I’m pretty happy about (last 5 reps I used straps, but that was only because my grip was fried from farmer’s walks yesterday). Felt pretty good for my first time doing heavy straight-bar deads since my back injury.
damn!! guys on here are strong as hell!!

Dead: 245lb x5
