Done this morning. First session in the past week took a week off because of all the PR’s being broken only to come back and hit more. I have put this over head before but never as easily, smoothly, or even close to as light of a body weight im at now.

So, week 2 of 5/3/1 BBB begins.

Last week on 3s paused bench, I rep PR’d at 77.5kg x 7. Today I hit 81kg x 8 (plus another spotter assisted rep).

The squatting PR I mentioned was actually my second set. The first set I fell on my ass (I’m not sure how, maybe my hamstrings/adductors aren’t strong enough to do squats like this, or I just let the bar get behind me?).

I’m going to join this thread if you don’t mind. I need to log my lifts because I need some accountability.

Stats: 158lbs 5’8’ 4 months training (3 years off). My gym sucks for motivation, just skinny guys and fat women, the owner is massive and very strong, but there is only one other guy who is stronger than me and that’s only in bench (he is probably around 220-230 though). Plus, it’s in Korea so there getting advice can be difficult.

This week:
Legs - Front squat 220x5 ATG (just started so balance is a factor) Back squat was 308x3 ATG a few weeks ago.

Gym got a new hack squat machine, first time 12 plates x 10 - seemed easy, I think I was doing it right, I just stuck all the available weight on it because it felt too light.

Deadlift - 374x2 (next week going for 405 because I’m desperate for it) This is with straps as my grip has not developed enough after only 4 months.

OHP - 132x4

Bench - 176x3 (I feel weak with bench).
