505lbs Deadlift. Chalk and Belt only. 220lbs Bodyweight.
Congrats on the deadlift Reed. I want 500 really bad haha. And your dudeness, nice job with the press. I maxed out at 145 for a single a couple months ago and that felt heavy as hell hah
Front Squat 315 x 3
Bench 200 x 3
Nice deadlift Reed, a little sped up but looked good. 500 is my current goal…feeling closer every week.
145X6 Seems a little low for rowing, what happens to your maximal/high percentage weights for your deadlifts, Andrew? Nice on the deadlift, it looks like it was hitched a little bit?
315x1 front squat
Im thinking the only reason for the 20-30lb increase since last time is from greater developement in my abs arms and shoulders.
240X6 high bar medium stance 3 second pause squat
255X8 over hand romanian deadlift
Some from today’s, the romanian deadlifts were pretty easy other than the grip issue (screw mix grip unless for maximal pulling) and unholy cramping from being sick the past few days.
Deadlift: 185kgx3, after 4 working sets of 175kgx3
I saw some stupid PR’s today, 500x15 squat, not deep but still, and 525x2 very good depth.

i have never seen anyone do this in real life.
500X15 For squats, that are not eight inches above parallel? And 525X2 very deep?
Box Squat at my sticking point 500x3. basically just below a Half Squat.
I got 350 on my sumo yesterday at my meet, but it didn’t count because I hitched it. But it was still a PR and I got it up even though it technically didn’t count.
The 500 for 15 was high…but the man is 57 years old…525x2 was legitmate

Yeah, it is. Just switched over from DB’s to BB, trying to get the pattern right before slapping too much weight on.
My hips shoot up and my lower back rounds pretty much off the floor.
What style do you deadlift? That sounds like it would be a hamstring weakness, maybe try stiff legged deadlifts as an accessory for light weight or as a supplemental if you keep your ego in check? I hear they are especially useful for sumo deadlifts.
Close grip bench press 200X1
175X8 wide grip bent over row with torso parallel to floor
weighted wide neutral grip pull up 35X10
The actual pressing was easy and I could of probably have done it as a double. I could hardly unrack it, and unable to unrack 205 I could barely have it not contact the rack after straining incredibly but not clear it safely.

conventional previously, sumo now. I may give it a shot.
Today’s PR’s:
Bench: 225 for one (i’m weak, whatever, stfu)
Squat: 295 for one, felt good but I dumped 315 right after (refer to above)
Edit: @chobbs I stole your pixie sticks for PWO carbs idea. pretty brilliant I must admit
Lol they’re too good
“Edit: @chobbs I stole your pixie sticks for PWO carbs idea. pretty brilliant I must admit”
Do you snort said pixie stick?
I prefer smarties PWO. Pretty much just dextrose… and food coloring/citric acid I think. Lol the bench isn’t that bad… It is probably a tad bit stronger than me and my weak ass 149 self.
225X6 low bar wide stance anderson squat an inch above parallel (right below where I normally miss a squat and or slowing down)
I got a personal record for rack pulls… I don’t feel like counting it from them injuring me in the same training session (different set)
