Lol no joke. I don’t know why that happens but anytime I post off my phone it is all sped up.

Medium stance low bar 3 second pause squat 255X5
185X12 stiff legged deadlift
105X13 zercher lunges
185X8 wide stance zercher squat
I think my medium stance squat may be stronger than my wide stance. Anyone know if medium/close stance squats work well for those with strong backs?

345lbs Front Squat with Clean Grip for a easy single.
Dssg- hey man you need a strong back for every type squat whether close wide front back zerxher or box. What is more important per say in determining your squat stance should be more of are you Quad dominant or Posterior Chain dominant as well as your build. Most RAW squatters are not built for a truely wide squat how ever shoulder width maybe slightly wider will allow most force to be generated. Although notice I said most.
I have always been told I am ‘lanky’ or long limbed. And I’m slightly posterior chain dominant now. For stances close is about hip width, medium is shoulder, and wide is about two or three inches per foot outside of shoulder width. As for what stance to choose, I’ll just have to experiment with what works for me.
With medium/close stance squatting I also seem to good morning the weight/upper abs give out a little bit when a set is dificult while my hamstrings seem to be a weakness for wide stance squatting.
265 x 1 Hang Clean PR
Currently in my deload week of Wendler 5/3/1…
Hit these rep PRs last week:
Squat 300 x 4
Press 135 x 6
Deadlift 409 x 5
Bench 185 x 6
**First post on the site, been lifting for about 14 months now
@your dudeness, those are some pretty damn decent lifts for 14 months of training. Your pressing seems to be a bit low compared to your other lifts but still very good. Any particular reason for this (injury, long arms, etc?). Its not glaringly bad and may not even be bad in comparison to a more experience eye than mine (I’m still a beginner as well). Im just curious. BTW props on the hang clean, that is very impressive
Bench 215X2, will try for 2 plate next week
Cable row 70’s for 8 clean
Had sex 4 times in 24 hours, this fits in new PR’s right?

Chicken/egg scenario…is it the more the you have sex the higher your test levels are or the higher your test levels the more you have sex?
@bulkNcut Thanks, been hitting it hard and taken on lifting as almost my second job. I’ve always thought my press was pretty weak, or relatively anyways. I haven’t tested my 1 RM on it since August, and that’s what I used for this 5/3/1 cycle. I don’t have any injuries holding me back but I do have longer arms as I’m 6’3" 190 lbs with most of my mass in my legs and back.
Been focusing on my upper back and shoulders lately. The clean is my favorite lift, so I was pretty stoked about the PR from the hang because I just hit 265 for 2 from the ground a couple weeks ago.
@Andrewdwatters1 Nice. Same girl or 4 different girls? Necessary info for PR purposes.

This is a PR? Sorry to hear that.
205X10 yates row
160X18 kirk shrug
145X11 3 second pause low incline bench, a default PR I guess, It has been a very long since the last time I incline benched with a normal grip for me
Pec healed up also.
@chobbs: It’s a win-win so I’m cool either way
@YourDudeness: Same girl, so maybe not as great an accomplishment
Today’s squat PR: 265X4 for 2 sets
flipcollar teach me your ways…
Variety is the spice of life. Make it happen. Set a new PR ![]()
close stance high bar squat 225X13 very very ugly
sumo stance romanian deadlift 205X12
barbell roll out 255X15 some pr’s from today.
Strict press: Managed a couple sets of 5 at 55kg
Wide-grip pull-ups: 4x6 with 15kg added
Kristi did Squats with me today as well and knocked out a PR as well 90lbs for 21 reps. Her max was like 65lbs 4 -5 months ago when she started lifting with me she is a beast. That’s her getting ready for her 16th Rep. Dont know why is sideways… damn it.
your wife squats 275 for 21-24 reps? after 4 months of training?
what?
Yes I started her on 1000mg of Test Prop and 1000mg of Tren and a handful of dbol a day from day one… she has responded quite well lol.
No read t again the first little area is my PR 275 for 21-24. She counts my reps when I do high Rep squats. The second part is her PR of 90lbs for 21.
230X3 front squat
185X10 wide stance zercher squat
205X15 barbell glute bridge
Some from today, I think that is a personal record for front squats.
