That’s pretty awesome. Congrats

Thanks. I was pretty stoked; it’s been rough the last 6-8 weeks. My weight loss is totally stagnant now but I am managing some strength gains at least. Hopefully after the kiddo’s on a more normal sleep cycle and the crazy schedule from him and the holidays slow down I can start doing some walking again…and of course, when we don’t have family or office events every 4-5 days it’s easier to eat clean.

I really, really want to break a 450 squat next year too >< My squats still frigging suck. I’m thinking of switching to low bar and seeing if I can get the hang of it.

325X1 Sumo Dead
Pullups BW+50X5

DB Bench Press 85’s for 5

545 Standard Deadlift. Was strapped in and there was some hitching but, that’s the beauty of Strongman.

That it isn’t a comp lift, and you can hitch as much as you want if it improves your events?

That is a competition lift. GA Strongest Man Ice Breakers Gold Level Competition January 12 at 11am.
Standard Barbell Deadlift. Straps allowed no suits must be pulled conventional.
And there is absolutely no rule against hitching so yeah.

175X5 Floor press
145X10 close grip #1 floor rack lockout
185X7 wide grip bent over row
wide neutral grip pull up 25X10

These are some of today’s personal records, the floor press is a 10 pound record for me :).

195x12 bench press after deload. Ran it through the 1RM calculator and came out to be 280, I would call bullshit but the calculator was spot on before…

What calculator are you using? They tend to be a bit off for some people (myself including) for lower and higher reps.
