Did 6x5x285 back squats this afternoon after doing some snatches .
Some days you feel very fired up and get burned out quicker .
Today i felt pretty casual . Think ive lifted like 12 days straight now.

What’s a chin down?[/quote]
Chin-up on a pulldown machine. Not sure if that’s what it’s really called, but made sense to me.
Goals have changed quite a bit recently… new PR’s BW pullups X17, 88 sit-ups, 3 mile run: 24:30. can only get better from here.
close grip bench press 155X11
close grip bent over row 180X6
snatch grip bent over row 150X7 strict
135X21 snatch grip shrug
Are some stuff from today.
anderson front squat 175X3 (it is atg)
front squat holds with walk out 295X30s
weighted natural glute ham raise 10X6
And once again, more pr’s and posting to keep the thread semi active.
bench press 250x1
overhead press 165x1
deadlift with overhand grip 365x1
bodyweight 196
age 16
3 mile 23:13
400lbs Front Squat with Reverse Bands (green) to 13in box for easy single. Bands were set so absolutely nothing was taken off last 4 or so inches. Longest exercise title new PR as well.
First week of 5/3/1 so toying with some pretty light weights, but 295x15 on deadlights. I don’t know how I can describe the noises I was making on reps 13-15 b/c of my ipod. It’s amazing what a little chalk and a reverse grip will do for you.

Gosh man, if I ever go above like 5 reps on deadlifts I just want to die.
I honestly lied down on my back and just closed my eyes for a solid 3 minutes lmao
265X3 low bar wide stance squat
295X6 sumo deadlift
weighted natural glute ham raise 10X9
Some of today’s once again lol. Hopefully I will be getting 295-300 next week for squatting.
Touched the rim of a regulation height basketball hoop.
After increasing my squat a bit and doing some snatching i definitely notice an improvement in my overall vertical explosiveness.
I was able to have extremely rough sex with my wife for like 20 mins with out slowing down at all after working on hip thrusts and and a little cardio I definitely noticed a improvement in explosiveness. BANG NEW PR.

Improvement in explosiveness? I’ve noticed I’m usually noticeably more explosive after about a week. Maybe you just took more time off than normal?

I used to do 4x12 deadlifts. It worked alright, but I ended up developing a repetition injury in my forearm and had to seek out PT.

Typically you are completely ‘recovered’ in about 48 hours.
