260x3 bench press
315x2 squat<-----totally unplanned, I was just feeling like an absolute champ and decided to try it
Yesterday did 10 sets of 305x3 back squat, kept the rests a minute or less, tried to keep the reps fast , did some partials afterwards.
Been doing 1 arm dumbell snatches, am throwing up the 95lb-ers pretty cleanly. Mainly because of squats going up.
I know i should probably be more agressive with adding weight but its kind of psychological thing.
Need to work my upper body a bit harder.
I’m pretty sure I’m gonna set a pr of 255x5 tmrw on bench…just because I bought the pizza party pack, 2 pizzas 8 breadsticks and cookies lmao
Back Squat, 95x30 on Dan John’s Mass Madle Simple, day one.
This isn’t a PR really (seriously, I don’t even warm up with 95) but I’ve never done a 30 rep squat set before! To see what 95 pounds can do to you makes me dread the higher loads that are waiting for me in the next weeks… after rep 20 a weird mix of mental and physical fatigue sets in; it’s closer to a 14k race than anything I’ve done in the weight room before.
255x(I’m going to have to say 4) but I was grinding my last rep and my spotter just yanked it right off my chest smh
got 285 for six on deadlift…not a great PR but eh.
Next week I plan to max out to see where I’m at. After that I’m going to have to revise my routine due to scheduling issues–trying to work out and eat in the hour gap between work and class isn’t going so well, and I don’t want to start my workout at 10:30pm when I get home either :X
Just hit 225x1 on the bench. Next, time to get that 405 DL!

Is it a bad thing? lol
155X3, and 165X1 push press
an easy 155X1 overhead press (after hitting a max triple for push presses)
165X2 close grip floor press
25X8 weighted wide neutral grip chin ups,
175X6 snatch grip rows
115X8 bradford presses are today’s personal records.
I don’t think bodybuilding-style training lends itself to PRs well.
Overhead press 95x12, 12, 10, 8, 8
Partial lateral raises 30x20, 25, 25, 40
And I almost almost bench pressed without elbow pain. I keep dropping the weight, experimenting with movement patterns, but I haven’t figured it out yet. I might have to stick with DB presses, but I don’t have the equipment.

Just gotta take advantage of the good days when they come around
285X3 #1 pin pull,
natural glute ham raise with arms crossed on chest bwX3 are the two most notable personal records today.

Absolutely. Speaking of…
DB Rows: 80X8
Pullups: +15X11
Switched up my training a bit. I wasn’t squatting deep enough first off so i had to relearn how to actually go ATG. Some recent pr’s.
ATG squat- 195x5 x3
Bench- 125x5 I know it sucks lol but its a big PR for me.
Deadlift ( switched back from trap bar to straight bar)- 220x5
455 Standard Deadlift for a single. I think I had a slight hitch but new 20lbs PR.
465x1 dl. Probably could have got more, but making progress.
Been going to the gym for about a month and a half and i can incline dumbell press: 22kg eahc hand (3x8), also I could only do a max of 75kg bench press a couple of weeks ago. Now I do 70kg for my reps.
Consistency is the key for beginners. Leave ego out the door, keep at it and walk away the biggest son of a bitch in the gym. But mainly consistency.
This morning 4am, got in a couple sets of 315x4 back squats, then did a few more sets of triples with the same weight. Stuffs feeling lighter and easier.
Did some of them klokov presses supersetted with wide pullups afterward to get swole.
