Hey i am looking for a new workout program to help me train for football next year. i am looking to gain a lot of strength in my legs and shoulders but still a full body workout. I am currently on a two day repeating workout all five sets of five which consits of Day 1: Squats, three quarter deadlifts, pullups/dips, and standing calf raises and Day 2: decline bench, close grip bench, standing barbell shoulder press, and barbell curls.
I am looking for something more thorough to build mass and strength. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I am lloking to play football as a middle linebacker so strength and spped are a must if that helps.

If I understand correctly, you are presently 6’2 185 and entering University next year and wish to play MLB. As I noted in your other posts - you have a lot of work to do in your diet. Quickly you must understand your dedication to your goal isnt merely shown thrown your training regime but also diet and proper rest. With regards to your training program I need to reinforce that your total training (speed, agility, strength) must be co-ordinated to maximize your performance on the field. In my opinion the routine you have listed above doesnt accomplish that. I will be happy to discuss more if you wish. In faith, Coach Davies
