Git, I believe in the laws of intention, so I write down all the things that I want, even those that seem outlandish. And even if they don’t come true, at least I know I put it out there, you know, turned an idea into something real and tangible. Plus, who am I kidding, I’m a bit OCD - its the Virgo in me.

Cal, its true, its ambitious. We’ll see. I’ve really just decided that i need to train to keep me focused. 2010 was a great year, but also fraught with a lot of distractions (the good and bad, but mostly the ‘too good’, lol!). I’m hoping the training will wear me out like you would a little hyper-active puppy.
Btw the snow shoveling gave me some serious back DOMs. HA! No good deed…
Also, I decided to take this week off from Oly lifting. First because I don’t want to travel to Queens with the snow, second because I want to spend some time at MY gym before the resolutioners take over, and lastly because I’m on vacation! And thus I can do whatever the fuck I want. tee hee.
I won’t lie though, and I think I’ve said it before, the Oly lifting takes a lot out of me - not so much physically, but mentally. Its quite sad to admit this lapse in mental fortitude, but sometimes I have to really motivate myself to train. So I’m basically considering this a bit of an Oly deload. I already miss it and will probably practice snatching later tonight at my gym, so I think by next week I’ll be back in Queens with vigor.
Training last night:
bunch of back squats - worked up to an ugly 5x155. I’m going to stay here until they feel right, will also film them for verification.
N grip pullups - 4x4, 6x3 < total number has gone up, shooting for 10x4
DB presses, goblet squats, pushups, facepulls. 20 mins on the stairmill.
Tonight I’m taking a spin class (i know, i know) and then doing pilates, both classes are taught by one of my favorite trainers. I’ve been taking his pilates for about 3 years now. I lurv him. After pilates we sometimes go for coffee - gym gossip is the best!
