Tampa Terry will soon be here to help you.
There is a thread a little ways down started by TheBow titled, “Should I change my diet (a little long)”. That should give you a good starting point and maybe you can take a shot at running your own numbers! Of course as Thunder mentioned, TT will be a wealth of info.

You’ve come to the right place. Read the FAQ and then start pouring through the previous issues. Study up and stick with whatever you decide to follow and you will succeed.
Hey, there, EAS, and welcome to T-Mag. Congrats on the gym membership!!!
Honestly, as a newbie/beginner, I’d recommend that you keep it simple. Have fun, work out, clean up your diet a bit, and do a little cardio along the way. And while you’re doing that, take the opportunity to read everything you can get your hands on (or click a mouse on) here on the site. Read the forum and read the archived articles in the “Previous Issues” section on the left-hand side of your screen.
