Having a really hard time finishing wednesday workouts. my whole upper body is burnt from the two days before. and im not going to lie , i have really been slackin on the legs.help me out with some leg exercises if you can. thanks for any replies!

rippetoes is for you:

Your intentions in the gym are probably honest, and I’m assuming you work hard. Your routine sucks, and is extremely vague.

What are your maxes?

I’m guessing you would be having troubles with wensdays work out because you used almost the same muscle groups with Tuesdays work outs so you ideally want a rest day every 2nd or 3rd day. If you don’t want a rest day for what ever reason swap Monday and Tuesday.

Personly two presses on chest day is enough for example incline/decline or incline/flat with flys and cross overs is good im not sure why you have bench press and db press in the same work out im guessing the bench press is with a bb.

Shoulders is a small muscle group alot of people over train them and it seems that you are over training them and put shrugs on back days.

But look around the site for different programs becasue using words like “other leg shit” and lots of “rows and any other back machines at the gym.” kinda points you out as being new to weights and or having no idea

And i dunno i seem to be different but i don’t think a persons max has anything to do with how hard they work. So many things come into play with lifting big. I would go as far to say that what weight you put on the bar has nothing to do with how much effort you put in

thanks guys! um the maxes i do not know as of right now, havent maxed out in a while.

Yeah but someone with a 135 bench max shouldn’t be doing a bodypart split meant for the guy who curls more then that. Also people with lower maxes tend to do well on ripp/madcows/stronglifts, because it has planned progression, and the way it’s layed out is conductive to newer lifters.
