Need Advice on Ankle Sprain

i had a pretty bad ankle sprain 9 weeks ago, even though now i could run around fine but if i extend my ankle for maximum range/bending/twisting, i could still feel some pain. some ligments still get very rigid/swollen at the end of the day. i wonder how long would it take for full recovery? ive been to doctors twice, all they tell me is write alphabet with my toes and draw triangles with 1 feet while standing on my injured feet to get balance back.

i dont feel its helping much at all… if u guys have similar experience, advice is much appreciated…

I tore a couple of the ligaments in my ankle pretty badly. Its been about 3 months or so and it still isn’t all that great. However I found after about week 10 its been healing alot quicker. So hopefully it’ll be alright. Its ridiculous how long it takes ligaments to heal up (due to lack of vascular tissue).

you mean due to lack of youth. when I was 20 it meant week and half off. Now it seems like 3 months

this has really put me in awkward situation. im avoiding all work outs that put weight on my ankle, so no deadlift, squat etc… just most sitting down work outs.
