You might want to do a google search:

hey i deserve that irish, that is the stuff i need to hear. if i do not learn when not to push it, sooner rather than later squats and deads are going to be completley out of my playbook.

Hmmm, interesting. I don’t speak medical that well so are they saying CS causes the cancer or just can delay recovery after the treatment? Not that either of those choices is good.

I’ve tried the Glucosomine/CS/MSM together and each individually, and CS seems to help the least. So maybe I’ll cut it out and just use the Glucosomine/MSM.

This has been an interesting thread to read. I hope you put your new training regime on a thread as well.

I know you said it would be your last post, but hopefully you will answer this:

How would you rate this experiment? Did it acheive what you hoped it would?

Heavy T - I will be anxiously awaiting your new log! I find myself looking for new posts on the present thread daily because it has been one of the best threads on this site. I’m sure you will find the road in life and in lifting that will take you where you want to go. Good luck in all your future endeavors.

Thanks for posting, heavy.

Good luck with your training.

hey guys, i will be posting again when i figure out what i want to do. as far as how the “experiment” went, i learned a few things.

1 conditioning is very imprortant as far as health and body comp. goes, especially when you are getting older and like me, have trouble sticking to a good diet.

  1. if you dont have access to a track, a sled, etc, and you hate cardio, you can still get conditioning in with the crossfit barbell and dumbell drills.

  2. consistency is the key as far as conditioning goes. i can go by “feel” as far as my strength training goes and make progress, working out 4-5 times one week and taking another wek off, BUT with conditioning, to maintain you have to be consistent no matter what.

i was amazed how quickly i detrained when i had to leave the cross fit facility and i started doing less and less true “crossfit” type workouts.

Feanor76…you must be some sort of genius. Yea, you’re and Internet genius…lol

Where did I say it “caused” anything?

I wanted those who are interested in taking this supplement to read ALL about it.

WAKE UP!

Dearest Mr. ZEB,

Where did I say that you said anything? I simply was making a statement of fact … And, in fact, I was hoping that when people read your astute links, they would keep in mind this fundamental fact of data analysis.

Perhaps you had more in mind when you didn’t say anything? Back to my cat nap.

Mark
