Thanks, i’ll check it out.

Sounds like you are adding the lbs. I’m sure the bagels will help a lot! LOL

Have you done a serious, committed bulk before?

I’ve just started recently and am still learning how to balance food intake, workout intensity/duration and acceptable fat gains while getting stronger.

Keep us posted and good eats!

I haven’t done a bulk like this in a few years. Last time it took me from 155-180. And then over the past couple of years its been slower but ive made it to 190-195. Now I just feel its worth it to get it over with and shoot straight to around 215 while im still relatively young.

Im not too worried about fat gain. I have the tendency to naturally lose weigth and be somewhat skinny fat, so my best method of avoiding this is to just eat everything. And some days I am a bit bloated and start to think im gaining too much fat, and then all of the sudden I’ll wake up one day and look ripped. I think fluid balance plays a big role here, so I try not to pay too much attention to these things and instead just focus on eating as much as possible.

When I was able to successfully add a lot of weight in the past, I was eating french bread with oil and vinegar every day. Im probably gonna get back to this because its an easy way to add 500-700+ calories each day. Add to that peanut butter sandwhiches and whole milk, and it shouldn’t be that hard to get the calories I need.

Good luck with your bulk.

At least he puts his numbers out there for people to see… Unlike some people.

Call out’s should be reserved for people with at least some fake e-stats in their profile, if not pictures. (Aside from those that obviously, based on extensive post history, know what the fuck they are talking about.)

Not that I disagree, but it’s a poor show to piss on someone when you are an anonymous e-person with nothing to back up his shit talk…

Just saying.

I am not the OP, but I have been lifting for 11 years (off and on) and struggle with 2 plates:(
Yes, I am one of the losers who made no noticeable progress many on these boards are talking about.

I really dont bench much, at least not with barbells. The other day I asked someone to spot me and went for a max on CGBP and got 225. I dont really care what my bench is, but I’ll be training it heavy during this bulk to increase my tricep strength/size and I think I should experience some pretty rapid gains since its pretty much untrained for me.

Hit 202 this weekend. 13 lbs more to go. Im hoping I can make that in the next 4-6 weeks. At least thats what i’ll be shooting for. I just saw that elitefts.com released westside for FAT bastards, so that should come in handy after im done bulking.

205 WOOT! 10 more to go.

Are you going to stop at 215lbs or go even higher if you are still relatively lean?

Im going to stop or at least slow down when I reach 215. Im not really lean even at the moment, probably around 15% or so. But i’ll probably just try to maintain 210-220 throughout the winter, and keep working on increasing my lifts. I’ll then start working on really getting my BF down in the winter or early spring. My goal is to be somewhere in the 200-220lb range at around 10-12% BF.
