Lula It was great meeting YOU! Speaking of HOT …
How nuts is it with a room full of people, I sat right next to your biggest fan
Yess, ha maybe over a couple beers or a scoop of Surge we need to talk about him, oh my! Joking aside, how cool you had such great support! He pointed out all kinds of people from your gym, tap into them!!!
He was cracking me up " There was this girl that just showed up at the gym one day…she is like loading all these plates on the bar, I run over to her and say, WHOA THERE, whatcha doin? and BAM she just lifts it up, like it was nothin! She is so strong!!"
You had such QUIET CONFIDENCE, LOVED THAT!! You looked focused and in your ZONE!
As far as the singlet goes, I feel better about putting one on, not sure if its cause you rocked it, or it just takes on a whole new meaning for me. That would be the last thing on my mind. Would like to hear a bit more about what the atmosphere in there did for you, did it make you feel stronger? Did it make you feel rushed with the commands? Did it help you get in the zone? What?
Im looking forward to see what you do with your training, not to mention “getting ripped”, you had incredible muscle definition, Very nice!
PS. Im pretty sure you had REPS left with that last DL!!!
EDIT: Relentless, Im in trouble!

OMG, when I saw you sitting next to him I had to laugh. Definitely over a couple beers we can talk about him. I have to say though, he’s excellent at breaking the ice. He was the first to ‘welcome’ me at that gym. Nice…interesting-guy.
And YES. I am tapping into them, or at least, working on it. So far I feel like the annoying dog that follows them around, but I’m determined to prove myself useful sooner or later.
Quiet confidence, I like that.
I’m definitely an internalizer, which a lot of people misread. I think part of it on Saturday was that I never quite knew when I was up to go, and my mind was on a million other things, that I just kind of got up and did my lift.
The atmosphere—I had a brief moment during squat warm ups when I saw girls warming up with 225 that I was like, OMG what did you get yourself into? But then I gave myself a pep talk and repeated the me v. me mantra and got over it. Honestly, when I was under the bar, I didn’t hear a whole lot. I remember hearing someone cat call my first squat so that helped to boost my confidence a little bit…beyond that I pretty much zoned in on the ref in front of me.
And yea, the singlet’s not so bad. You would look HOT HOT HOT.
June 2012, it’s going to be epic. G, clear your schedule!!
