Mr. Olympia 2011

If Branch was in the condition he normally was, he would have won.

OUtside of Phil, everyone was wet from the back on Friday.[/quote]

He’d have been top 2 for sure. If he came in conditioned like he always does, no one on that stage could have touched him or Phil.

all of these stats are so blown out of proportion.

LOL @ 290 on stage for a 5’9 guy. No one can honestly believe that.

Speaking of Branch, anyone see him when he was speaking to the crowd before the first nights show? The guy was wondering about without crutches or anything after getting his leg stitched back on to the bone. Thats pretty tough stuff right there.

I think Branch, leg permitting, is up there with a shot at No.1 next year/year after if he isn’t too set back by the injury.

Phil… last year and this year.

legs are much improved.

He came in a lot drier this year. Size doesn’t look to have changed too much (besides legs), but with diminishing returns and everything, I’m sure they’re fighting for every new pound of muscle at that caliber.

Wish branch could have competed. I don’t know if he would have taken heath or jay, but it would have been interesting to see who won between him and kai.

I also think Phil’s delts are larger than last year.

They’re both freaks each one his own way (Branch & Kai).

By the way Kai works out at my Gym  He looks enormous!!! Unfortunately he is always covered up to his eyes. I have no idea how does he survive in his hoody and long pants because I am dieing from heat in my shorts and t-shirt

BIG Qualification changes next year(source RX muscle). If true some people are going to be shit out of luck next season…

“Last night a meeting of promoters, officials, and judges met to vote on important policy changes in bodybuilding, fitness, figure, and bikini. As a result of that meeting there will be a huge shake-up in the bodybuilding world. As of next year ONLY THE WINNERS OF PRO SHOWS will qualify to compete in the Olympia. That includes all divisions, and the only exceptions to this new rule are the Olympia and the Arnold Classic, in which the top three qualify. When I heard this, I figured that if the winner had already qualified in a previous contest the second place contestant must then qualify, right? Wrong. Only the winner qualifies, and if the winner already is, no one will be invited to the Olympia.”

you know you’re big when someone accuses you of steroids ← insufficient

you know you’re big when people do a double take, think your pic is photoshopped and then remember “oh yeah, he IS that fucking big!”

Phil’s arms are so f*cking huge they make his deltoids look smaller.

Funny. This stood out for me aswell. I was lucky enough to meat phil at an expo a few months back. Really humbling.

Looks like his pecs have got bigger too, especially the lower portion…anyone else notice that?

Dude’s a fukin beast!

Phil’s a pro… through and through. You don’t get to his level and NOT know what you need to improve on at any given moment. I expect to see improvements next year as well.

I hardly ever venture into that forum. But I’ll check him out.

Guys like him seem to sneak in here, post a few things, then disappear before the rest of us can pick their brains thoroughly.

lol

This is a crazy picture of Jay, if you haven’t seen it yet.
