Kroc 14.5 Weeks Out

Veins in his traps 14.5 weeks out! he’s lookin crazy…
asp.elitefts.com/qa/training-logs.asp?qid=113808&tid=126

He looks good, but looks like he’s balding on top! His weakest area if any is his chest I imagine thats from flat benching so much though. Not saying his chest isn’t good, but compared to the rest it’s a bit weaker. Matt is a senor badass though, Love the way he trains (and looks).

?

What does this have to do with anything? Most males are losing their hair before the age of 30-35.

HE’S 38.

I’m going to go ahead and say that Ken (2nd picture in that link), at 50, looks pretty damn awesome as well. You can’t ask for much more than that at 50.

Matt is a thick 235 and so is Ken for that matter.

Looks damn solid at so far out. I will note (to nitpick,… sorry -lol), that from this shot his tris look noticeably undersized compared to the rest of his thick build. Very curious how he’s looking in other shots.

yeah what the hell does that have to do with Bodybuilding?

It doesn’t but it’s a strange fact that to many people there is, in their minds, a relation.

For example Duchaine felt that it was critically important for him to keep his hair because so many view loss of hair as being a sign of screwing up and not knowing what one is doing and/or being physically inferior: thus, visible hair loss would have people psychologically doubting him.

I don’t at all believe that he thought this was rational or correct of them: but he believed that many thought this way.

I suppose it’s a matter of some people lumping all aspects of their idea of physical perfection together, and they don’t like hairloss, and thus for hairloss will downrate and impugn a bb’er or an expert in the physique or health fields.

(An alternate idea that it is supposedly proof of steroid use makes no sense, I think, because it is not as if these people thought in the first place that pro bb’ers and top PL’ers don’t use steroids, as well as the obvious fact that many men lose hair without taking steroids.)

Wow, 38. I was always under the impression that he was much younger based on the videos/interviews of him (who knows maybe theyre old).

He’s got a neck-gina.

Yeah, I am pretty sure that is why it was brought up which is why I commented…not even because it surprised me, but that it still fascinates me that it seems to be human nature to try to tear down other people in some way even if one convinces themselves it is really a “compliment”.

The man was born on December 8, 1971. It blows my mind that someone would make an issue of hair loss to someone who is almost 40 as if this is in someway strange or a negative.

It took me less than 20 seconds to find his birthdate on line…and ZERO seconds for someone to try to throw out a negative about the man like a hit and run from the safety of their computer screen.

People lack TRUE respect for those who have clearly accomplished something impressive.

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that.

lol yeah

Can’t believe the other dude is 50.

The neck-gina deserves its own thread. My guess is he’s a reptilian shape-shifter.

I was going to say the same thing in reply to BurnMyEyes comment on his chest. Hard to really say based on 1 pose though, and his tris might pop as he drops more weight.

As for the other dude, if I look anything near that at 50 I’d have to think I’d feel pretty damn good about myself.

chest is from using the shirt. And to move massive weights on the bench you want the tri’s and back doing all the work. If the chest is doing the all the work it will only be a matter of time before you tear a pec. Still he will kill everone else on back and side shots … all the shows i have been too everyone dissapears when they turn to the side … not mat

my dad was bald at 30 …
what does that have to do with anything ?

His legs look great so far out. Massive teardrop

Recent post on his log:

"I had a pretty good arm training session today. I’m down in Florida at my buddy Chad’s place and we trained in his garage today. It was kind of weird breaking a good sweat (it was about 70 degrees out) after having trained with the temperature in the 30s in my garage for the last couple of months.

Just for the heck of it (and due to the goading of my buddies) we got out the tape measure and I was surprised to see even though I’ve dropped 20lbs my arms were still just a hair under 20".

It’s supposed to be in the mid 70s down here today so we’re going to try to head out to the beach this afternoon and maybe catch a few rays. After all I need to start working on my tan lol."
