Jesus…
Yeah, he is going to be one tough SOB to knock off the top spot.
Smaller waist than last year or just the delts are bigger?
Both! -lol
Looks like Jay’s on track!

Lighting + maybe indeed smaller…
If he can hold that pose that way on stage…
Heath’s arms beat the shit out of his though in terms of shape… (and I actually don’t like heath’s overly plastic looking arms much)

I’d only say Heath’s forearms more dominant, and you also have to take into account that Cutler has no fake tanner on yet, so your not going to get the crazy shadowing.
Plain and simple though, Cutler looks huge this year, and the smaller waist definitely helps a lot more with his V shape, as he looked more like a block last year.

My thoughts exactly.
Though I admit Jay’s never looked this good. But like I mentioned in another thread, some of these guys look friggin’ unreal up to the day of show, but somehow appear less than stellar once onstage with the lineup. I’ll bet Jay will appear with his usual blockiness.
Can’t reduce the width of a pelvis.
lol
Wow. Insane update… looking forward to watching tomorrow night even more now

I know youre saying that because it’s your opinion on what looks good. And not saying it because you think it will be the reason he loses.
Because the width of Jay’s hip bones will absolutely not stop him from winning #5.
It’s pretty apparent that judges dont care about bone structure all that much. Which is good for you, because if they did, Phil wouldnt sniff the top 5 with his narrow ass clavicles. If they did care about bone structure Flex Wheeler would STILL be winning O’s

Narrow-ass clavicles? Yeah, Phil looks REALLY narrow in that pic. It’s even shot at a disadvantageously low point of view and he STILL looks wide as a doorway.

It’s not even debatable that Phil has an inferior clavicle:hip ratio. Not just compared to Jay, but to virtually everyone. It’s thrown off his aethetics far more than the size of his arms has.
Cutler doesnt have the best, by far. Wolf does. My point was that bone structure is far less significant than you made it seem with the post qualifying Jay’s obvious improvements.

I never denied his improvements. Nor did I state he doesn’t deserve a win. But the past 2 years have shown Jay to be spectacular in pre-contest solo photos, but looking blocky when in the line-up or in dual comparison shots.
I do agree that Wolf has the best.

That particular pose makes everyone look wider than they are (makes the delts look a certain way etc).
I do agree that Cutler has been looking much better pre-show than during the actual event for the last few years.
Im not the biggest Jay fan in the world, but he gets number 5 this year. Kai, heath, and wolf round out the top 4. I havent seen any pics of rockel, although he always comes in conditioned.
Robert Burneika looks massive. Just saw him do an interview with shawn Ray at the hotel. Ill be surprised if he doesnt place insided or just out of the top ten. Victor looks good as well. But I think the top five will be the regulars.
1.Jay Cutler (unfortunetly)
2.Phil Heath
3.Victor Martinez
4.Dennis Wolf
5.Ed Nunn
6.Hidetada Yamagishi
7.Kai Green
8.Toney Freeman
9.Robert Burneika
10.Rockel
11.Marius Dohne
I’m hoping Kai Greene will surprise everyone this year and finish top 3.
I’m finding it curious that people’s expectations of Kai slowly declined through the course of this thread.
I think Kai has enough mass to get either third or second. He may even pass Jay and Phil and take this one, it all depends how he shows up, although there aren’t enough pics out there showing his prep condition. Anyway, this year is gonna be entertaining. Jay has made a shitload of improvements, and Jesus fucking Christ, unreal quad sweep.
