I know he won’t even be considered near the top placings of the Olympia this year but I am really glad that our local boy Marius Dohne is going to be competing this year at the Olympia. He won the tampa pro and has been getting bigger (physically and in terms of recognition) which is really awesome for a South African bodybuilder. This pic is from some guest posing, it may have been when Jay came down here earlier this year for a seminar but I am not too sure.

Damn he’s crazy! I reckon if he can get that chest up he can definitely do damage in the pros.
Marius Dohne - the name is out there.
Yeah, Marius is a beast. Great quads, delts,… I wish we had a different pose to look at, as the above pic really doesn’t display his lat development. There are a few guys going in as rookies this year that will most certainly get overlooked. That seems to be the usual procedure at the Olympia each year.

His delts make his chest look tiny.

No, he won’t be competing in this Olympia. He’s preparing for 2012.
Too bad, then it’s between Jay Cutler and Phil Health ?
I found a ranking in another website (getbig) :
1 Jay Cutler
2 Phil Heath
3 Branch Warren
4 Dexter Jackson
5 Kai Green
And what do you think about Deniis Wolff ? it could be a surprise ?

I want Phil to win because he’s the best, in my humble opinion.
If Wolf comes in condition and dry, he could be in top 3. He has terrific lines (better than Jay’s).

Don’t go by ranking on websites or magazines…complete horseshit. use your eyes, how to they look one at a time as they come out, how do they appear when they line up next to one another.
Dennis wolf will eaither look really good or so so. kai could be amazing, good, or off. jay could be really good or a bit off. phil will likely be near or at his best, but none of this is garanteed. with today’s level of conditioning any miss steps will show, we’ll know on the day.
Ed Nunn crushed it at the Tijuana Pro. I think he will place suprisingly high, maybe even seventh, and cause a quite an upset.

Well Cy… that all goes without saying, really. We’re just batting preferences and opinions back & forth.
- Ed Nunn
- Dennis Wolf
- Toney Freeman
Tall bodybuilders.
Sorry Iron, i quoted the wrong quote, it was from the previous page…of couse banter about who we like, who we pick, who we hope is going to occur. i meant to address/reply to the post about “a magazine had them in this order.”
flex will push phil kai in that order, they won’t cry about cutler because he still has an appearance clause in flex and sells magazines. md pushes their guys but folks like shawn, flex, ronnie try to speak as they feel not as they’re told.
palumbo, chris aceto, and lonny “the dillbag” teper all have jay at 1 they flip flop about kai or phil in 2nd. Chis made a great point about how things play out after the show demonstrating the herd mentality and subjective nature of judging. wherein if phil wins and jay loses then mags and folks will say phil killed him in this shot, this side shot, and this one too!!! same conditioning but jay wins and the same fuckers will likely say just the opposite jay crushed him here, here, here.
if they’re all on it’s truly hard to judge, they are all outerworldly. i do think if jay is really sharp like 09 or better he’s very tough to beat. if kai matches 09 conditioning or better w/ freaky size and detail he’s tough to beat, he’ll (as said by others) need to be better than NYPro where farah mentioned not bringing him to 100% on purpose…we’ll see. if phil is sharp and jay isn’t great or kai isn’t better than than NYPRO then phil wins.
the word is Victor is crazy looking too. dennis wolf, dexter, victor might round out the top 6, all three could miss top 6 if not sharp though.
i’m so excited i’m going to go eat and then shit again, or maybe shit then eat…we’ll see, see it’s all so difficult to predict! getting laid might occur, a shower after eating and shitting factors in, what about xbox? maybe reading. music. sleep.
alright top 6
- shit 1. Kai might shit the bed though conditioning wise…we’ll see
- eat 2. Phil might have grown His back is + we’ll see how the chest looks
- shower 3. Jay might drown everyone w/ overall size…we’ll see
- read (let food digest) 4. Vic might have read that we want him to show up condtioned
- sex 5. Wolf doesn’t like it from behind, high lats, no muscle on his tramp stamp
- sleep 6. Dex, old guys don’t sleep enough, lost size and muscle from no rest
Last O I made it abundantly clear that I’m a big fan of Jay Cutler. I do want him to win not only because he’s one of my favourites, but also because I enjoy seeing the sheer disappointment from the anti-Jay Cutler crowd on this site. LOL
