Regarding his conditioning 8 days out. The last few shows hes done he’s come in watery on the day of the show after looking great 2 weeks out. It’s probably intentional. He has a different prep guy this year I think.
Kai has a tough road regardless of how big/lean he is simply because of his structure. Hes not that tall and not particularly wide (clavicle:hips ratio). His front lat spread is simply ridiculous though. It’s also hard to grasp how big he actually is wihtout someone standing next to him. His waist being smaller is a big improvement though
This is something i have definitely also noticed with Kai. When i see him in videos with other people he is awe-inspiringly (not sure if that counts as a word) big. But when i see him posing by himself, he looks so far behind Phil and Cutler in the mass department.
As it stands now as long as either of those two are around, i cant see Kai winning an olympia, sort of a bummer cause he’s definitely one of the more likeable/entertaining competitors.
After watching this video on his website, i cant see Jay losing this year unless is conditioning is off. His overall mass is just out of this world.
a.r.t. looks like it really sucks
Yea holy crap. Especially when he’s doing his left lat around 5:30.

I honestly think Phil is who most want to see win this year. I don’t think Cutler winning again will play as well as it has before in light of that. Unless Cutler just takes it to a whole new level, Heath is just showing way more interest and way more potential to go even further.
I don’t know who else is competing, but seeing Kai 3rd and Martinez 4th could really play out.
Just wondering, do you think Heath is currently better than Cutler? You make it sound as if Heath should win because he has more potential for the future.
This is not an attack, and maybe I’m not getting what you are saying in the right way. But if it was about potential, Dexter would have never won.
I’m a fan of both guys but I think Cutler will win if they both come in at their best. Heath looks are more pleasing overall but when you look at bodyparts seperatly, Cutler has the edge on almost all bodypart except arms/waist and they are both pretty equal as far as back is concerned imo.
THe thing is, there is something about Jay which just makes him look like he could “crush” anyone since he’s so wide and imposing
With Branch out of the O, spot 3 is gonna be a battle between Wolf and Greene IMO. I would like to say Vic will do great but he always seem to fuck up and idk if he looks the part when standing next to Wolf Greene Heath and Jay even tough he looks great on his own.
On a side note I’m looking forward to see what McGrath brings to the stage, hope he repeats conditionning of the Toronto Pro, even if it wont place him so high.
Also, I’m looking forward to seeing Lionel Beyeke next to the big guys, see how he does. He has a lot of potential
Agree 100% on Lionel Beyeke that guy looks amazing if he can continue to add size without sacrificing his shape and proportion he can be a serious contender for the top spots next year.

Interesting that Jay Cutler uses fat gripz. I thought those were just for functional grip training. Out of curiosity has Jay ever given his opinion on them, he must find that the increase muscle fiber activation or something.

Could just be a “grip” thing, like Roelly uses the diced up sections of tempurpedic bed.
Could reply to my question on the last post of the previous page, if you want?
Why? If I have an opinion that doesn’t match yours, why would I waste time arguing about it?
Further, why would you care in the first place? If you wanted general discussion, you would throw the question out to everyone.
You didn’t.
I did not want an argument ?! I asked you if you felt Heath was, right now, better than Cutler or if you felt he should win because he has more potential.
I even made it clear this wasnt an attack or whatever.
And if I recall correctly, you really dont mind “wasting your time” arguing about shits way dumber.
I did not want a general discussion no, hence why I directed the question at you.
Oh and by the way, there would never be any “arguments” if people never “wasted their time” if their “opinion didnt match the opinion of their counterpart”
