“SHAKE & BAKE!”
My football coach used to say “You’ll pass out long before you die” usually followed up with “now get to runnin’ fat ass”
The more social distance you create, the bigger your muscles will get.

My old football coach used to say…
It’s mind over matter. I don’t mind because you don’t matter.
Towards the ending in the movie 8 Mile, as Eminem is getting himself pumped and amped, his friend tells him who he is battling. Eminem replies, “I don’t give a fuck who it is…” That gets me amped.

Do any of you guys keep motivational pictures, quotes ect. in your workout journals? If so please share[/quote]
No I dont. I record and plan in the journal, I don’t need to ‘get motivated’ to train, I’ve been training (and Enjoying it!) for over 30 years. ('kin’ell I feel old now I said that LOL)
If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always got…
One smart arse coach use to say to us… “I may not always be right but I’m never wrong”

anyone who says they have seen this picture to many times needs to return there nuts.

A few I use on my athletes from time to time:
Rest when your dead!
Show me dont tell me!
Nobody ever drowned in sweat!
If you can talk your not fucking working hard enough!
A nasty one a friend used when trying to motivate someone to get those last couple of reps out of a big bench…
He’d lean down and whisper in your ear just as the bar was beginning to feel like it would crush your chest…
“Just pretend your trying to lift a fuckin’ rapist off your mother.”
