Im curious to see if people on the Nation have any personal mottos, sayings, or mantras, that they tell them selves when the going gets tough.
When shit hits the fan is there anything you mentally repeat to yourself to keep plowing through it?

“One must willing to sacrifice to the level that one is willing to achieve”-Jay Schroeder
This one always works well. Usually I end up demeaning myself though. I work well off of negative energy.
Also visualizing the goal, whether it be hypertrophy, speed, fat loss, etc…
Not training related:
“Dont let insignificant people have a significant effect on you”
“Everything in moderation, including moderation”
The feeling of… Kundalini.
When I’m plowing through heaps of shit this feeling of burning focus will keep me going.
Live day by day.

Yeah.
“I can’t do this shit no more!”
“Just show the fuck up!”
“Go hard or go home.”
I want to be the best at everything I do. I hate doing things half-assed. Either I give 100% or I gtfo.
You.
Look.
Scared.
Either
“Stop being a bitch”
or when shit is REALLY hitting the fan I’ll pace and count my steps “1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4” its sort of like meditation but less lame and more obsessive compulsive
Some very good replies!
Whenever I feel exhausted, hurt, lonely, or afraid I always tell myself -
“Its your life, you only have one, no regrets, take control”
“Fuck a duck!”
kill it with fire
one famous T-Nation mantra - stick it in her pooper.

I’ve taken to “Pour the gas, light the match, BURN!”
A cookie to whomever can place it.
I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence. I’m the best there is, nobody can hang with my stuff.
Not really a motto, more like a philosohpy.
I guess the motto would be, “If you ain’t first, you’re last!”
At any moment you should be willing to give up what you have today, to become something greater tomorrow.
Or something along those lines.
No words, only deeds. I just go completely blank and do what ever is required.
