I always assumed that the deadlift was the easiest to judge for form followed by bench press and squatting. But my friend argued that the bench was the most difficult to judge because of the whole rest on the chest thing. It shouldn’t be an issue in competitions but what do you think in general?
Squats are the worst. What one judge will pass at a meet another might not.Plus it can be hard to judge depth depending on where you view them.

Not unless you are watching on the internet, then everything is high.
I’ve judged at a few meets. Squats are the most difficult unless you’re an asshole that only passes squats that are obviously deep. It’s most difficult when there’s two spotters a side, because your have a small window to judge through.
It must be squats. At the last meet I did, one third of the squats from the morning session were red lighted (I counted it up afterwards). With different judges in the afternoon, almost every squat passed.
