Yep. Keep your momentum. Do what you can and nurse the rest.
Yeah i think you’ll be better off at least squatting and pulling than just doing nothing.
i’m waiting to see some training:)

Race to Salina: 210 miles to go as of now. Hope to put in a few more miles later this evening.
19" Box Squat 45/5 95/5 135/5 155/5 175/5 195/5
pin 12 squat 225/5 245/5 265/5
calf raises 50/10/10/10
crunches 0/20/20/20
No problems with elbow. I’ll try some light upper body lifting tomorrow.
Meat, I tried to take a vid of the squats, but some fat, ugly guy snuck into the video. Scared the crap out of me!
Good work on the box squats.
Good job keeping at it, math. Glad to hear that the elbow is doing better.

Heavy squats and/or deads will keep the muscle packed on the entire body. I hope all goes well with the elbow tomorrow.

Bench 65/5 95/5 115/5 135/5 155/5 175/5
BB Bent Row 70/5 100/5 120/5 140/5 160/5 180/5
Overhead Press 45/5 65/5 85/5 95/5 105/5
Ab Roll 0/8/8/8/8/8
DB Pullovers 40/5 50/5 60/5 70/5
Pretty conservative session. The only thing bothering me at all is my right shoulder. I think that’s from being overweight and sleeping on it. Plus I haven’t been doing the YTWLs etc. Need to get back to those at least 2-3 times/week. They really help.
Thanks everybody for stopping by.
Way to hang in there Math! Looking good.
Alright, looks like the elbow was just a temp thing. Hope it stays that way. Sleeping on my shoulders is the only time I really get any pain in them. If you figure out how to stop let me know.

I have serious home lifting envy right about now, good work.
Joe - Thanks. I much prefer lifting at home.
Hel - Not so much as a twinge from the elbow tonight.
OG - Thanks for stopping by.
nice going kevin! great pr’s!
YEE HAW…Nice PR’s Math, Congrats…break out some Porter and celebrate!! Those 3 reps went up fast…lot more coming!!
Great work, math! Congrats on the PRs! Bloody things are addictive, aren’t they!?
I agree with OG, you’ve earned a porter.
Nice work on the rack pulls- I think you got more in you, judging by bar speed,
glad to hear the elbow feels solid.

SD, Strick, Kevin, and OG - thanks for stopping by and the kind words.
My training is taking a very different direction now. I’m kind of just feeling my way with it, more along the classic powerlifting lines.
Nice work. How did the elbow do? Given the volume, I would say fairly well.

No weights today. Yup, that’s right. Today was a weightless day!
Exercycle 4 (AM) + 4 (PM) w/ 6 x 30s intervals w/ 60s rest
TM Walkies 1 (AM) + 1 (PM) @ 4% grade, 3 mph
Race to Salina: 187 miles to go.
Strick, the elbow was fine. It appears to be completely healed up. I’m glad I backed off like I did. In the past, I’ve kept trying to train until I was completely screwed and really had to back off. As it is, I’ve actually set some PR’s after only taking about 1 week off.
Current plan is
Day 1: Lower body, Squat focus
Day 2: Upper Body (ME Bench)
Day 3: Weightless w/aerobics and/or HIIT and/or light circuits and/or light complexes
Day 4: Lower body, Deadlift focus
Day 5: Upper Body (DE Bench)
Day 6: Weightless w/aerobics and/or HIIT and/or light circuits and/or light complexes
Repeat
Deload every 4th to 8th cycle.
Some aerobics in AM on weight days. Maybe some light calisthenics in AM too.
I’ll try riding this pony for a while, and see where that takes me.
